Truth And Reconciliation Needed, Part 2

"Three generations of imbeciles are enough" wrote Chief Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., in the majority opinion for the 1927 Buck v. Bell decision, which upheld the practice of state-sponsored sterilization. Holmes' opinion not only affected people like Carrie Buck it would also affect people like Tony Riddick who has three businesses and his mom Elaine Riddick, Janice Black who has developmental disabilities and physical disabilities and is a friend of Sadie Long who is Black's legal guardian and caretaker and many others.

Like the 1973 US Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade legalized abortion and has not been reversed, neither has the 1927 Buck v. Bell decision legalizing sterilization. In 1974 Elaine Riddick filed a lawsuit accusing the North Carolina Eugenics Board, social workers and the local hospital of unlawfully depriving her of the right to bear children. The US Supreme Court refused to hear her case.

Elaine Riddick was raped at age 13 in North Carolina by a man living in her neighborhood. At the time of the rape, Elaine Riddick lived in a two-bedroom house with her grandmother, Maggie Woodard, known as "Miss Peaches". After her rape North Carolina state staff compelled Miss Peaches, who was illiterate, to sign a form if she wanted to continue to receive public assistance including food stamps. Miss Peaches signed the form with an "X" that permitted the state to sterilize Elaine Riddick without her consent. Watch Elaine Riddick tell her story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFJNX5bHYVI.

Some victims of state-sponsored sterilization have said that they still suffer physical and mental pain from the sterilization. Sterilization hurts. So does abortion which has killed unborn boys, unborn girls, adolescents and adults. Denise Montoya and Tonya Reaves are an adolescent and an adult who have died from abortion. Watch this video testimony from Freda McKissic Bush, MD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60C87TaxpQQ. The US House of Representatives has passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act stopping abortions at 20 weeks and beyond. Pray that the Senate passes this legislation and President Barak Obama signs the legislation into law.

Abortion and sterilization are different from contraception. True contraception is a temporary way of preventing the union of egg and sperm not targeted toward certain groups of people and not used as a substitute for economic development. God designed for some people to be single and some married couples to have no children. God designed for some married couples to have one, two, four, ten and more children. Sometimes people don't follow God's plan for marriage and sperm and egg unite outside of marriage. Sex outside of marriage is not God's will. Human life is God's will. God has a plan for each human life.

Galatians 5:13-14 Amplified Bible says, "For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another. For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself." Umntu ngumntu ngabanye abantu means "a person is a person through other persons."

Desmond Tutu retired as archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa, in 1996 to head the Truth and Reconciliation Commission where many victims and perpetrators of apartheid discussed the deeds done during apartheid. America needs a truth and reconciliation commission on state-sponsored sterilization. Nationwide more than 60,000 documented cases of state-sponsored sterilization exist based on the type of sterilization law upheld in Buck v. Bell. Also all government records of sterilization have not been made public.

God desires for deeds of darkness to be exposed and for truth, love and all goodness to prevail. God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit wants people to have good relationships. Good relationships start with receiving and loving God first; then we will know how and have the ability and power to love self and other people. John 16:13-14 Amplified Bible says, "But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you."

Sterilization and abortion are deeds of darkness promoted by eugenic philosophy and do not glorify God or people. Eugenics is a "science" developed by Francis Galton, a cousin of Evolutionist Charles Darwin, that advocates for the reproduction of certain people and for the elimination of other people, usually the disabled, low-income and those who are not of northern European heritage. Watch this Maafa 21 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02t3Wqg-4Iw.

Eugenics is a global and modern evil now using names like Planned Parenthood, family planning, population control and others. China has a one-child policy with state-permission required for pregnancy, state-monitoring of pregnancy, forced abortion, forced sterilization, fines and other evils. Bob Fu and Chen Guangcheng are some of those fighting to end China's one-child policy.

Chen Guangcheng has also successfully helped disabled people to secure public benefits. Some government contractors and workers are well paid. Others are not. Sadie Long and Deana Copeland are caretakers of disabled persons. Copeland is the caretaker of Andrea Hood, who has cerebral palsy, spina bifida and autonomic dysreflexia. Copeland only earns $1,400.00 monthly for full-time work. Read about Copeland and Hood here: http://www.oregonlive.com/politics/index.ssf/2013/08/disability_rights_advocates_fa.html.

What about cutting government waste such as government funding of Planned Parenthood and other organizations like Planned Parenthood and fully funding caretakers of the disabled like Long and Copeland? Write to:

All government funding of abortion and sterilization should be cut and the victims compensated. Even though some states like Virginia, California, Indiana and a few others have apologized to sterilization victims, most states have not. Also so far North Carolina is the only American state to financially compensate victims of state-sponsored sterilization.

If you have family and friends in North Carolina, please let them know about North Carolina's financial compensation to victims of sterilization. Ten million is to be split equally. Compensation claims must be filed by June 30, 2014, for victims to receive a one-time payment to be distributed June 30, 2015.

Truth And Reconciliation Needed

Tony Riddick is an entrepreneur with three businesses. He is also the son and only child of Elaine Riddick who was raped at age 13 in North Carolina by a man living in her neighborhood.

North Carolina's actions were legal and based on a 1933 law similar to the Virginia sterilization law upheld in the 1927 US Supreme Court Buck v. Bell decision. Watch Elaine Riddick tell her story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFJNX5bHYVI.

Proverbs 18:15 Amplified Bible says, "The mind of the prudent is ever getting knowledge, and the ear of the wise is ever seeking (inquiring for and craving) knowledge." Like the 1973 US Supreme Court decision Roe v.

Unjust acts need a hearing, so that knowledge and truth can be tools to right wrongs. Abortion has received more public attention than sterilization. Over the years information made public about abortion has revealed knowledge and truth that abortion kills unborn girls and unborn boys in the first-trimester, second-trimester and third-trimester of pregnancy, and abortion also has taken the life of adolescents and adults. Read my article "Thoughts About Abortion" at http://michelefjackson.blogspot.com/2013/01/thoughts-about-abortion.html.

Abortion is involved in many areas of sexuality and reproduction. Sometimes fertility treatments result in more human lives than a couple desires. Gladys Flores and Jose Abel del Cid went through fertility treatment expecting one or two children. Instead five were conceived. Some people will abort some of the multiple babies. But this couple did not. The Salvadoran quintuplets were given little chance of survival when they were born prematurely on January 19, 1995, at San Salvador’s Maternity Hospital after a 32-week pregnancy. Today Thelma Estefanie, Irvin Norberto, Cristian Israel, Edwin Oswaldo and Milton Oliver del Cid Flores are healthy 18-year-olds contemplating futures in college.

Watch this video of a father testifying on behalf of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which protects unborn girls and unborn boys age 20 weeks and older from death by abortion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7O2rgG67Ak. Human life is valuable in all its varieties and various ages. Congressman Trent Franks who is in the video has also "adopted" Pastor Saeed Abedini through the Defending Freedoms Project which is an effort of multiple groups including the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission to increase attention and support for human rights and religious freedom through focusing on prisoners of conscience across the globe. Members of Congress "adopt" prisoners of conscience to advocate for their release. Pastor Saeed Abedini is a dual national of the US via naturalization and Iran by birth and is currently in Evin prison in Iran because of his Christian faith and works. Advocate for Pastor Abedini's release by prayer and by signing a petition at http://www.savesaeed.org.

In Iran and in China it is difficult to be a Christian and to raise a family. Bob Fu, a Christian, left China with his wife, who was pregnant with their first child. The Fu family did not have government permission required under China's one-child policy to conceive and to give birth to a child. Today Bob Fu is head of ChinaAid which works for religious freedom and against China's one-child policy. Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp0RDMK-huY.

God gives people permission to celebrate two birthdays, one natural and one spiritual. John 1:12-13 Amplified Bible says, "But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]" Being born of God is living a good life now and forever including overcoming evil in an unbreakable relationship with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. Abortion, sterilization, discrimination and a lack of liberty are some evils.

If you have family and friends in North Carolina, please let them know about North Carolina's financial compensation to victims of sterilization. Ten million is to be split equally. Compensation claims must be filed by June 30, 2014, for victims to receive a one-time payment to be distributed June 30, 2015.

North Carolina's compensation excludes some people who were sterilized. To receive compensation victims must be alive as of June 30, 2013, and must prove that they did not receive informed consent. An appeals process exists. What types of sterilization compensation limits are bad? What types are good? Write to:

Friendship Or Family Control?

Sadie Long and Janice Black have been friends for several years. Long is also Black's legal guardian and caretaker. Black cleans hospital equipment at a medical center in North Carolina and has developmental and physical disabilities.

One day Long noticed a scar on Black's stomach and asked Black about it. Black said it was the result of an operation done to fix her. Long didn't pursue the matter at that time.

A Dutch proverb says, "Sooner or later, the truth comes to light." Long learned about North Carolina forced sterilization practices through news reports.

Proverbs 17:17 Amplified Bible says, "A friend loves at all times, and is born, as is a brother, for adversity." Long helped Black to learn that Black had been forcibly sterilized by North Carolina state when she was 18 because the state considered her to have the mental capacity of a seven-year-old and at-risk for becoming pregnant. Sadie Long says about Janice Black, "Janice never had a boyfriend, she's never been out on a date, she's never been sexually involved;" read more of their story at http://www.wfae.org/post/nc-eugenics-victims-story.

Black is now in her 60s and also a resident of Mecklenburg county which is the same county where Wallace Kuralt worked as a welfare director from 1945 to 1972, according to The Charlotte Observer and said in a 1970 interview that “we’ve pursued sterilization of the inadequate parents more actively than any place in the world... Our activities (in birth control and sterilization) have caused us to give aid to less than 50 percent of the families we would have had to give aid to if it were not for these activities.” Read more here: http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2013/08/08/4223519/alice-mae-jackson-and-eugenics.html#storylink=cpy.

Long has been helping Black to go public with her story and play a role like William Lynch, Charles Holt, Alice Mae Jackson, Elaine Riddick, Nial Ramirez and others who have been sterilized and seeking financial compensation from the state of North Carolina. North Carolina is the only US state set to pay compensation to victims of state-sponsored sterilization even though state-sponsored sterilization occurred across the US.

Disabled and non-disabled we all need friends. God the Son Jesus Christ is a friend and a model for friendship. John 15:12-14 Amplified Bible says, "This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you. No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do." Jesus Christ died for people's sin once and for all time. Jesus Christ rose from the dead in three days. Jesus Christ insists that His people die to selfishness and love people.

Sadie Long and Deana Copeland are both legal guardians and caretakers for persons with disabilities. Copeland is the legal guardian and caretaker of Andrea Hood who has cerebral palsy, spina bifida and autonomic dysreflexia. Hood requires full-time care. As a caretaker of Hood, Copeland receives $1,400.00 through a Medicaid program.

Until recently, the Affordable Care Act prohibited guardians from serving as paid caretakers of an adult child with disabilities. Also regulations to allow parents, spouses and other relatives to serve as both guardians and paid caretakers is still being worked out. Read more at http://www.oregonlive.com/politics/index.ssf/2013/08/disability_rights_advocates_fa.html.

Many families feel that their disabled family members will have a better life being cared for by family as opposed to state staff.

Charles Holt was 19 and living in a North Carolina state institution when he was forcibly sterilized. Charlie Follett was a teenager living in a California state institution when he was forcibly sterilized.

California has more than 20,000 state-sponsored sterilizations and is believed to be the US state with the most sterilizations based on laws like the Virginia sterilization law upheld in the 1927 US Supreme Court decision Buck v. Bell. However, all state records have not been made public. California is also the state where sizable numbers of Chinese started coming to America in the 1800s to make a living mining gold. China today also has state-sponsored sterilization. Feng Zhongxia was subjected to a forced abortion, a forced sterilization and other evils. Philip P. Pan reports in The Washington Post article "Who Controls the Family?, "She recounted that she was seven months pregnant and on the run when she learned that local officials had detained more than a dozen of her relatives and wouldn't release them unless she returned for an abortion.

"My aunts, uncles, cousins, my pregnant younger sister, my in-laws, they were all taken to the family planning office," she said. "Many of them didn't get food or water, and all of them were severely beaten." Some of the relatives were allowed to call her, and they pleaded with her to come home.

Feng called the family planning officials. "They told me they would peel the skin off my relatives and I would only see their corpses if I didn't come back," she said. The next day, she turned herself in. A doctor examined her, then stuck a needle into her uterus. About 24 hours later, she delivered the dead fetus. "It was a small life," she said quietly.

Afterward, she said, the family planning workers insisted on sterilizing her, too. "I'm a human being. How can they treat me like that?" she asked;" read more at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/26/AR2005082601756_2.html

Some say abortion, sterilization and discrimination against the disabled and others is necessary to treat society. However, God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit says human life is valuable in all its varieties and stages.

If you are a guardian and/or caretaker of a person with disabilities, what are your thoughts about the Affordable Care Act? Also please share stories about victims of abortion and sterilization. Write to:

Is Love On Your Mind?

When Chief Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., wrote the majority opinion for the 1927 Buck v. Bell decision, he upheld the practice of state-sponsored sterilization and wrote that "three generations of imbeciles are enough."

However, God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit hasn't had enough of people, and He counsels us to think well about God and people. Proverbs 4:23 Amplified Bible says, "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life." Deuteronomy 6:5 New Living Translation Bible says, "And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength." Leviticus 19:18 The Message Bible says, "“Don’t seek revenge or carry a grudge against any of your people. “Love your neighbor as yourself. I am God."

Some people carry a grudge against people who are disabled, low-income and/or minorities. Some also seek revenge. The Charlotte Observer reports that Wallace Kuralt, a North Carolina welfare director from 1945 to 1972, said in a 1970 interview that “we’ve pursued sterilization of the inadequate parents more actively than any place in the world...

It's this type of thinking that permitted William Lynch, Charles Holt, Alice Mae Jackson, Elaine Riddick, Nial Ramirez and more than 7,600 people in North Carolina to be forcibly sterilized. Elaine Riddick was raped at age 13 and became pregnant. At age 18 she got married and tried to have children a year later. When she couldn't, she found out that the state of North Carolina had sterilized her as her son, Tony Riddick, was being delivered by C-section. Elaine Riddick has been seeking to stop state-sponsored sterilization and to start financial compensation for the victims ever since. Due to her efforts and the efforts of many other people North Carolina is scheduled in June 2015 to pay $10 million split equally in a one-time payment to victims of North Carolina state-sponsored sterilization.

California has even more documented cases of state-sponsored sterilizations than North California. It has more than 20,000 and is believed to be the US state with the most sterilizations based on laws like the one upheld in Buck v. Bell. However, all state records have not been made public. Also California is not scheduled to pay compensation to sterilization victims.

The Buck v. Bell sterilization law and others like it are based on eugenic philosophy which believes that the human race can be improved by promoting the procreation of some considered superior and by eliminating the procreation of others considered inferior (usually the disabled, low-income and minorities).

When God tells the human race to multiply in the Bible, He doesn't limit procreation based on a person's physical, mental and economic characteristics. God does command people to have children within marriage. God wants children to be loved by a mother and father.

God is Love. Obey Love. Disobey the devil. Love sees the potential in people, does not embrace pride and desires to imitate God. The devil will use pride and any other sin to degrade, divide and destroy people.

Abortion, sterilization, discrimination against the disabled and others, and other evils can be stopped. “Anything is possible in this world," Chen Guangcheng says (Rosie Gray, "Chen Guangcheng: Chinese Government “In A State Of Madness,”" BuzzFeed, May 13, 2014.)

Disabled or non-disabled we all need help in various ways. Chen Guangcheng, who became blind as a result of a childhood illness and now wears dark sunglasses, is a self-taught lawyer from China who helped the disabled win public benefits and aided farmers fighting illegal land seizures. Chen Guangcheng became internationally known for filing a 2005 class-action law suit against Chinese government officials for forced abortions and forced sterilizations practiced as part of China’s one-child policy. Later he endured physical and psychological abuse in jail and in house arrest. Chen Guangcheng was in house arrest with his wife, Yuan Weijing, and the couple's daughter. Their son was being "educated." Eventually the Chen family escaped to the United States. Chen Guangcheng, a US immigrant, testified before Congress on April 9, 2013, regarding human rights abuses in China.

Timothy Liveright has committed human rights abuses in America. Timothy Liveright, an abortionist at a Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic, would sing "hymns about sin to girls during the painful dilation phase of an abortion," according to Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich, a former nurse at the clinic; read more at http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/she-the-people/wp/2013/08/02/another-gosnell-in-delaware/. Mitchell-Werbrich also said that Liveright placed patients on "operating tables still wet with the blood from the previous patient." Another former nurse at the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic, Joyce Vasikonis, and a former healthcare manager at this clinic, Melody Meanor, have all testified of the unsafe, unsanitary, chaotic conditions in the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic. Watch them talk in a "Planned Parenthood Whistleblowers" video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzt8u-LC34w.

Instead of Timothy Liveright's, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.'s, and Wallace Kuralt's way of thinking and trying to solve problems, think and do Biblical love empowered by a relationship with God.

Our thoughts are influenced by what we hear. Anti-love eugenic thinking is still around today. What are some common sayings that encourage abortion, sterilization and discrimination against the disabled and others? Write to:

Love Has A Debt

The United States Supreme Court 1927 Buck v. Bell decision allows states to sterilize people. At age 17 Carrie Buck was pregnant as the result of rape. She was declared incompetent and forcibly sterilized.

It wasn't until 1979 that Virginia repealed the sterilization act that made Buck's sterilization possible. Unlike North Carolina, Virginia victims of state-sponsored sterilization are not scheduled to receive financial compensation.

Elaine Riddick is one who fought for financial compensation to victims of North Carolina state-sponsored sterilization. Riddick was raped too.

How many state-sponsored sterilizations were done to victims of rape and other crimes?

An apology to victims of state-sponsored sterilization is not enough and does not meet the Biblical standard of love. Romans 13:7-10 Amplified Bible says, "Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due. Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]. The commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet (have an evil desire), and any other commandment, are summed up in the single command, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. Love does no wrong to one’s neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law."

So far North Carolina is the only US state set to give due revenue to victims of state-sponsored sterilization. However, more than 30 states participated in state-sponsored sterilization.

Also other nations, such as China, have state-sponsored sterilization.

Unjust deeds are surrounded by other unjust deeds. Buck and Riddick were raped and then sterilized. Cristin Gilbert was raped and may have also not consented to an abortion that killed her and her child; Cristin Gilbert had Down's Syndrome. Should people who do not consent to an abortion be financially compensated?

Love is not automatic. Un dicho (a proverb) says, "Clamor del pueblo sube al cielo" ("The outcry of a people rises to heaven.") Share prayers and good deeds done in your state or area of residence to move along efforts to compensate victims of government-sponsored sterilization? Write to:

Love In Action

Free at last, high school over and living on her own with the hope of happily ever after -- a marriage. Sometimes spouses don't share the same hope. Lovemaking and a new life didn't come with commitment. Pregnant and her husband pursuing another lover in another home, what to do? Kill the unborn boy and sterilize herself?

She is Joyce Meyer and at the time she probably didn't feel loved or loving, maybe she even questioned where is the enjoyable, abundant life God promised His people in John 10:10.

God didn't promise us that our circumstances would always feel enjoyable. He promised us that His love and joy is always inside and surrounding believers. God would like for us to feel continuous joy and to live in continuous awesome circumstances, but sin gets in the way.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring except God? Love anyway. Joyce Meyer didn't abort her son or sterilize herself. Resist sin like dismembering bodies through abortion and mutilating bodies through sterilization.

Lovers are not hardhearted, hopeless or intent on harming people. Lovers are passionate, persevering and practical. Elaine Riddick was raped at age 13. While giving birth to Tony Riddick via a C-section she was also sterilized by the state of North Carolina. Elaine Riddick didn't ask for the rape or the sterilization. She has for many years been asking North Carolina to compensate her and other people who were forcibly sterilized. Pastor Bob Fu of ChinaAid was one of the lovers who helped wife and husband Cao Ruyi and Li Fu to avoid a forced abortion in China. Li Dahai is alive because of love in action, and Pastor Fu is still in action loving others.

God the Son Jesus Christ says in John 13:34-35 Amplified Bible, "I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another. By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves]."

The human body is a divine work of art. God designed for spouses to become closer through merry, marital lovemaking and occasionally lovemaking will include the beginning of a new life through the union of egg and sperm. Sex is supposed to be sublime and sensational. God's plan is good. Other plans are bad (sinful). Sin is anti-social. Partner sex outside of marriage, rape, abortion and sterilization are sin.

Abortionist Abu Hayat sliced off the arm of Ana Rodriguez during an attempted abortion and tried to frighten Ana's mom into paying $1,500 for the abortion ($1,000 in cash, $500 in the collateral of her passport, green card and jewelry.)

God wants us to watch what we are doing. Satan is always trying to stop love. When you look over your life today are you living in sin or showing the love of God?  Write to:

Blueprint For Love

No matter what age, race, ethnicity, sex or abilities possessed, we need to have a relationship with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit to know how to love God first then self and people. God is love. God the Holy Spirit inside of His people empowers us to love. The Bible provides the blueprint on how to use our love power.

Love power combined with increasing revelation of the Biblical blueprint leads to more loving relationships.

Good Relationships

Jesus Christ wants His people to have good relationships. Think and pray about those things that promote good relationships.

We live in times where good and evil are deliberately being mixed up by the enemies of good. Thinking and praying are essential for good relationships.

Focus

How is it possible to kill by abortion more than 336 million people and to sterilize more than 222 million people since 1971 in China? How is it possible to kill by abortion more than 55 million people in America since 1973 and to sterilize more than 60,000? One part of the answer is that it's necessary to "educate" as many people as possible to think that evil is good.

Satan, the devil, sometimes pretends to be gentle and good to confuse people into embracing evil as good.

Recently I was reading a book that described China's one-child policy as "highly effective." A confused mind describes as "highly effective" killing baby boys and baby girls via abortion and sterilizing women and men all accompanied with government compulsion on parents to pay for these acts.

1 Corinthians 13:7 Amplified Bible says, "Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]." Love does not focus on sin and difficult circumstances. Love focuses on God first then people. A Twi African proverb says, "Love is the greatest of all virtues." Matthew 22:36-40 Amplified Bible says, "Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light—which are heavy?] And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets."

God is Love. Obey Love. Disobey the devil. Love sees the potential in people. The devil sees people as worthless and hopeless; the devil seeks opportunities to create problems for people, accuse them of sin and kill them.

God does not ignore sin and difficulties. God sees all reality and is still willing and able to love. Before the healing of a son with mental and physical disabilities Mark 9:23 Amplified Bible says, "And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!"

When a father brought his son who had mental and physical disabilities to God the Son Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ did not sterilize, starve or separate the father and/or son. Instead Jesus Christ healed the son who had mental and physical disabilities and didn't hold his sins or his father's sins and difficult circumstances against them.

A Spanish saying is, "God will provide the means." God is a healer and a problem solver, not a people accuser and people killer. Imitate God. Ephesians 4:3-5:2 Amplified Bible says, "Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace. Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance."

Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead in three days getting back all that Satan stole from people. Satan has no potential for good. Jesus Christ is sterilizing, starving and separating Satan and his kingdom of darkness, so that God's love and goodness will reign in all the universe. What are some ways you on purpose focus on love instead of sin and difficult circumstances? Write to:

Aid With Strings Attached

Alice Mae Jackson died in 1969 at age 42 of breast cancer, but her daughter, Henrietta, age 61, is alive and is eligible to collect financial compensation from the state of North Carolina for the forced sterilization inflicted on her mother by government officials in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

When Alice Mae Jackson was alive she received state aid with strings attached. During one of her reviews for continuance of state aid Alice Mae Jackson took three of her four children -- 2 girls and a boy -- to the Mecklenburg County welfare department. Mecklenburg welfare officials told her to get sterilized or the state would  take her children. Later government officials put Henrietta in an orphanage. After Alice Mae Jackson was sterilized she got Henrietta back.

James 1:27 Amplified Bible says, "External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world."

Aid is supposed to help people and be unspotted and uncontaminated with worldly strings like forced sterilization. Needing assistance is not shameful.

Human rights violations such as abortion and forced sterilization are not God's will. God wants people to enjoy living. God the Son Jesus Christ says in John 10:10 Amplified Bible, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)."

Most parents want their children to enjoy living. The daughter that Alice Mae Jackson did not take to her public assistance review, she had placed with other family.

Later on in life Henrietta met this daughter whose name is Sheila. They met as employees of a nursing home.

Alice, Henrietta, Sheila and their other siblings needed true help instead they received discrimination. Read more about their story at  http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2013/08/08/4223519/alice-mae-jackson-and-eugenics.html.

North Carolina is scheduled to pay $10 million shared equally to victims of forced sterilization. If those forcibly sterilized are dead, the family's estate is eligible for compensation. Forced sterilization was legal in North Carolina based on a 1933 law that allowed government workers to forcibly sterilize people deemed to be 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic.' In Oklahoma earlier this year Governor Mary Fallin signed into law the Nondiscrimination in Treatment Act which takes effect November 1 and is modeled after anti-discriminatory language in federal law. The law, the first of its kind to be signed into law in the United States of America, will prevent health care providers like those connected to nursing homes from denying food, water and other assistance "on the basis of a view that treats extending the life of an elderly, disabled, or terminally ill individual as of lower value than extending the life of an individual who is younger, nondisabled, or not terminally ill."

Are creyentes (believers) working in your state to cut government waste like laws that permit abortion, forced sterilization and/or the denial of medical treatment based on disability and/or age? Are creyentes working in your state to improve government fiscal management by compensating victims of forced sterilization? Write to:

Cutting Waste And Working Wonders

Worship God. Use money to please Him. God is for immigrants and other people. Deuteronomy 10:17-20 Amplified Bible says, "For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, the terrible God, Who is not partial and takes no bribe. He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger or temporary resident and gives him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger and sojourner, for you were strangers and sojourners in the land of Egypt. You shall [reverently] fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and by His name and presence you shall swear."

Satan, the enemy of God and all people, gets some people to use money to please Satan by doing evil. Desmond Tutu, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, wrote a June 2013 article for the Huffington Post explaining that the Chinese government uses money to pressure people to do its evil will and that it is likely that New York University was subjected to this pressure. Tutu writes, "The university's public relations people say they are not responding to pressure in letting Chen go. Their statements are well worked out. However, the Chinese government's actions have been fairly consistent with businesses or allied countries who fail to do their bidding when it comes to voices they do not approve of. They have squeezed companies financially, dropped contracts, and in other ways have repeatedly threatened and punished those "business partners" who fail to tow the line. When the Nobel Committee awarded the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize to dissident Liu Xiaobo, one of China's responses was to strangle the Norwegian fishing industry, cutting their fish imports by 60%. In my own country in 2011, Chinese pressure on the South African government resulted in His Holiness the Dalai Lama being denied a visa to attend my 80th birthday party. They have gone so far as to have Chinese embassies contact film festivals and request that films critical of China be pulled from the festival. And they have rewarded those influential individuals who do their bidding handsomely."

New York University can still do good by reinstating Chen Guangcheng. Chen Guangcheng is a lawyer, human rights activist, blind and speaks Chinese. In 2005 he filed a class-action lawsuit against Chinese officials involved in forced abortions and forced sterilizations. China put him in jail. Then in house arrest. Chen Guangcheng escaped from house arrest and became a US immigrant along with his wife, Yuan Weijing, and their two children, Chen Kerui and Chen Kesi.

It's good for America to know about evil in other countries and those who are fighting against it. Helping these fighters to be successful helps to end evil in China and other countries.

We need many good fighters. Some of the evil in China is in America. Elaine Riddick was raped at 13. Then North Carolina state forcibly sterilized her. The sterilization was legal according to a 1933 law that allowed government workers to forcibly sterilize people deemed 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic.' In the United States more than 60,000 people have been forcibly sterilized. Gianna Jessen was born with cerebral palsy due to an attempted abortion. Jessen survived the abortion. However, since 1973 more than 55 million girls and boys have been killed by abortion.

New York University should go out of it's way to help Chen Guangcheng.

America shouldn't help terrorists and criminals. On April 9, 2013, Chen Guangcheng provided Congress with a list of 44 Chinese officials who have been persecuting his family and recommended that they be investigated and denied US immigration based on crimes committed. Congressman Chris Smith made the same recommendation in a July 29, 2013, letter to Secretary of State John Kerry which also included a request that Secretary Kerry meet with or contact Chen Guangcheng to learn about the human rights situation in China.

America should help freedom fighters and immigrants. Recently, an African American woman asked if I needed a green card. I was born an American citizen. English was a foreign language to me then, but now I am fluent. I also did not pay a dime to become a citizen.

At one tragic time in American history African Americans who were free had to carry on themselves emancipation papers explaining how they obtained their freedom.

Wouldn't it please God to end abortion and forced sterilization? Wouldn't it please God to welcome immigrants offering them citizenship and to cut government waste like green cards? Write to:

True Love Or False "Love"?

God created sexuality to be a beautiful reflection and celebration of Himself. God is Love, Life and Joy among other qualities.

Some don't think much of God and consequently they misuse sex. In bringing healing and reconciliation to a man who had sex with his father's wife and the church he attended, the Bible books of 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians record that the man was not sterilized nor any child conceived from his sexual union with his father's wife killed. Instead he was disciplined to motivate him to stop sexual sin and to love God and people. His church was also counseled to deal with his sins and their sins and to love God and people. Galatians 6:1 Amplified Bible says about true change and true love, "Brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also."

True love exists. So does false "love." In the United States state of Delaware Timothy Liveright, an abortionist at a Planned Parenthood clinic, would sing "hymns about sin to girls during the painful dilation phase of an abortion," according to Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich, a former nurse at the clinic (Kirsten Powers, "Another Gosnell in Delaware?," The Washington Post, August 2, 2013.) Mitchell-Werbrich also said that Liveright placed patients on "operating tables still wet with the blood from the previous patient." Another former nurse at the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic, Joyce Vasikonis, and a former healthcare manager at this clinic, Melody Meanor, have all testified of the unsafe, unsanitary, chaotic conditions in the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic; read more at http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/she-the-people/wp/2013/08/02/another-gosnell-in-delaware/, and watch them talk in a "Planned Parenthood Whistleblowers" video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzt8u-LC34w.

Kermit Gosnell is in jail. While Timothy Liveright of the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic has voluntarily suspended his medical license, he could start to practice again unchanged and nothing has been done for the victims of his abortions.

In July 2013 North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory signed into law abortion clinic regulation. Joyce Vasikonis, one of the former nurses at the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic, talked to Kirsten Powers about regulating abortion clinics as ambulatory service centers; Vasikonis said, “The procedure of surgical abortion is similar to woman …going to the hospital or outpatient center and having a D&C. Outpatient centers are strictly regulated. I do not understand why any organization doing a similar procedure wouldn’t be similarly regulated. It’s not like you are taking a mole off someone” (Kirsten Powers, "Another Gosnell in Delaware?," The Washington Post, August 2, 2013.)

North Carolina is also scheduled to pay $10 million shared equally to victims of a former state program where government workers forcibly sterilized people deemed to be 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic.' Elaine Riddick was raped at age 13. Then the state of North Carolina sterilized her after threatening her grandmother, who could not read, with the withdrawal of welfare including food stamps if she didn't sign a form giving the state permission to sterilize Riddick.

Money helps to pay for physical and mental healthcare. Should victims of unsafe and unsanitary abortions be financially compensated similar to victims of forced sterilization in North Carolina? Should girls and boys who survived attempted abortions be financially compensated? Should Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers be fined and closed? Write to:

Li Fengfei was subjected to a forced abortion in China. Chinaaid reports in the July 18, 2013, article, "Family Planning Committee in Jinsha County, Guizhou Province, forces woman to undergo abortion, leaving her in critical condition," "On July 9, 2013, five officials from the Jinsha County Bureau of Family Planning (located in Bijie City, Guizhou Province) took Li Fengfei, who was nearly 18 weeks pregnant, to a family planning instruction station. They beat her, breaking one of her teeth, and forced her to place her fingerprint on a form consenting to an abortion. While holding her down on a desk, the officials injected her with Rivanol, a medication used to induce labor, and other medications including Mifepristone and Oxytocin. Li developed a high fever, but no labor occurred and the child remained unborn.

Seventy-two hours later, on July 12, the officials performed an ultrasound which confirmed that the unborn child was dead. On July 13, the officials gave Li another round of injections to induce labor, but were again unsuccessful. Today, July 18, Li remains hospitalized in critical condition and her dead child has not yet been born." According to March 2013 Chinese Health Ministry data 336 abortions and 222 million sterilizations have been done since 1971.

Abortions are done in America also, more than 55 million since 1973. Some are working to save these lives. The US House of Representatives passed legislation which prohibits abortions at 20 weeks and beyond. Pray that the US Senate will also pass this legislation, and US President Barak Obama will sign it into law. The 20 week abortion prohibition is a step in the ultimate goal of protecting life from conception.

America should be a place who welcomes people and provides true love. We have a national motto of "In God We Trust." God created and loves people of all ages, races, sexes, ethnicity and abilities.

Covert Takeover?

In the Bible book of Jeremiah God tells His creyentes (believers) that they were doing many evil things in not worshiping God properly some of which were killing innocent people, mistreating employees and mistreating immigrants. God does not want well treated people or mistreated people to mistreat others. Galatians 5:14 Amplified Bible says, "For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself."

Ebed-Melech was an Ethiopian immigrant, government worker and creyente. Even though he had been sterilized, Ebed-Melech helped save the life of the Jewish prophet Jeremiah by advocating for his release from a particularly bad prison. Leading government officials did not want to hear and heed the truth that Jeremiah spoke about impending trouble and a difficult but definite way of surviving; so they put Jeremiah in jail.

Angel Moya was put in jail because the Cuban government didn't want to hear what he was saying. His wife Berta Soler as part of the group Las Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White) helped to free him and other political prisoners from jail. Las Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White) is a Cuban human-rights organization formed by the wives and mothers of 75 dissidents jailed in a 2003 government crackdown on political opponents. They participate in a weekly march and in weekly attendance at Mass dressed in white to encourage the Cuban government to free all political prisoners.

Soler became the head of Las Damas de Blanco after the death of Laura Pollan. Pollan is Las Damas de Blanco's founder and head who died of injuries inflicted on her because of her advocacy for freedom.

Soler and her family did not accept the Cuban government's offer to some Cuban dissidents to move to Spain. Soler currently lives in Cuba and is fighting for the Cuban people's freedom and the end of communism. Communism is not compatible with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness because it is a system of government controlling people's lives rooted in the spirit of fear.

Love overcomes the spirit of fear. Cuba is a communist country. China is a communist country that has a one-child policy with government permission required for pregnancy, forced abortion, forced sterilization, huge fines for conceiving unauthorized boys and girls and other means of fear. Communist officials claim the one-child policy is good for people. A Chinese proverb says, "Pointing to a deer and calling it a horse," meaning, "Right and wrong are deliberately mixed up." Abortion is currently legal in America; until 2003 in North Carolina people the government deemed to be 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic' could legally be forcibly sterilized. Do you think legal abortion and forced sterilization are attempts at a communist takeover of America? Write to:

Legal But Not Moral

As a teenager Elaine Riddick lived in North Carolina in a two-bedroom house with her grandmother, who was affectionately called Miss Peaches. One day when the 13-year-old was walking home, a neighbor raped her and threatened to kill her if she refused to keep silent about the rape.

North Carolina state government workers also threatened Miss Peaches and Elaine Riddick. Government workers told Miss Peaches, who couldn't read, that if she wanted to continue to receive welfare benefits including food stamps that she must sign a form that gave the government permission to sterilize Riddick. When Riddick gave birth to her only child, a son named Tony Riddick, by cesarean section, she was also sterilized. Riddick did not find out that she had been sterilized until she was 19 and was told by North Carolina government authorities that her sterilization was done because Riddick was deemed mentally retarded and promiscuous and to stop the reproduction of such people.

What happened to Elaine Riddick, Tony Riddick and Miss Peaches was not moral, but it was legal. A 1933 North Carolina state law authorized the sterilization of people deemed to be 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic.' It was not until 2003 that North Carolina made it illegal to forcibly sterilize people (NBC News, "State of Shame," November 2011.) Thirty-two US states practiced eugenics programs before and/or after World War II that included forced sterilization of those considered mentally and/or physically inferior.

Irregardless of what mental and/or physical abilities or disabilities we have, God loves us and desires wholeness and wellness for us spirit, mind and body. When someone is in a difficult situation desiring help God does not try to "solve" difficulties by killing people; instead He desires to heal people. In Luke 10 Jesus Christ shares the story of a Samaritan who participated in the healing of a man who had been robbed and beaten, and He teaches us to do likewise.

"You can't put a price on someone taking your womb or castrating you, it's humiliating,” Elaine Riddick told NBC News. Money helps to pay for physical and mental healthcare and other needs and wants. "I tip my hat to North Carolina,” she also told NBC News regarding the $10 million to be divided equally among victims of the former North Carolina eugenics program; “Finally they came to their senses and decided to do what's right.”

Un dicho (a proverb) says, "Amor primero, amor postrero" (Love, first and last.") All creyentes (believers) are called to be good Samaritans which is being a good neighbor in the Matthew 22:36-40 way: "Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light—which are heavy?] And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets."

ChinaAid, Women's Rights of China and US Congressman Chris Smith acted as good neighbors to Li Fu, Cao Ruyi and Li Dahai who live in China. When Cao Ruyi was five months pregnant she was forcibly taken to a hospital to have an abortion because she did not have the proper paper to have a child. No hospital bed was available. Her abortion was delayed enough for ChinaAid, Women's Rights of China and US Congressman Chris Smith to intervene. Cao Ruyi gave birth in a secret place to the married couple's only child, a son named Li Dahai, which means "our help came from overseas."

China has an one-child policy that includes forced abortion, forced sterilization, economic terrorism and other terrorism. Cao Ruyi and Li Fu are suffering a $15,000 fine for the unauthorized birth of Li Dahai.

Proverbs 14:28 English Standard Version Bible says, "In a multitude of people is the glory of a king, but without people a prince is ruined." Instead of forced sterilization and legal abortion, what are some ways governments can be good neighbors? Write to:

Wisdom, Power and Diversity

God welcomes people without getting stuck in a web of sin. He wants us to do likewise. God the Son Jesus Christ is Wisdom and Power that He gives to creyentes (believers) for living the good life He promised us. "Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me, but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its power" (1 Corinthians 6:12 Amplified Bible.)

A Chinese proverb says, "No one's ten fingers are all the same length" meaning "You cannot expect that everyone will be like you." Paul, an apostle of God, was a keen observer of people who found multiple things in the way people are and act to show and tell them about God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit and to unite them into the family of God which has love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. Paul celebrated diversity without practicing Biblical disobedience.

Patience is about cultivating consistent godly character not about putting off godly action. Un dicho (a proverb) says, "No hay tiempo como el presente" ("There is no time like the present.") Christian Minister and Civil Rights Activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., said in his August 28, 1963, I Have A Dream speech given at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., "Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood .... There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights." 1 Corinthians 13:6 New Living Translation Bible says about love, "It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out." Another word for injustice is wrongdoing. 1 Corinthians 13:6 English Standard Version Bible says about love, "It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth." The truth is God created equal people of all races, sexes, ethnicity, ages and abilities; He expects us to love Him and to love all people not make exemptions for wrongdoing.

While racial and other wrongdoing still exists today, legal segregation doesn't; also African Americans are more fully enjoying citizenship rights than in 1963. What are some wonderful ways from African American heritage to lead people to Jesus Christ and to more fully enjoy American citizenship? Write to:
