Truth And Reconciliation Needed, Part 9

Genesis 2:24-25 Amplified Bible says, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not embarrassed or ashamed in each other’s presence."

Marriage is for the nakedness of partner sexual union and for love. All forms of rape are for shame and against love.

A neighbor and North Carolina state raped Elaine Riddick. A neighbor raped Riddick at the age of 13. North Carolina state raped Riddick by sterilizing her without her consent her while she was giving birth to her son conceived through rape. But prior to that before I had the hysterectomy most of my life was I had to live in a whole lot of pain, hemorrhaging. When I got my monthly cycle ... it felt like someone had taken a knife and was gutting me .... My menstrual cycle ... wasn't normal because it lasted ... 12 to 15 days at a time, and this happened from the time ... after I had my son from the time I was 14 until I got into my 40s when I eventually did have to have a total hysterectomy."

Riddick said in the CNN interview regarding the psychological pain of her sterilization, "You will never recover from this because it's always there. Every time you wake up when you go to sleep it's there. You think about how you've been treated in this country here. You think about--well me myself I had been so severely damaged until I was on Prozac, Serentil and Haldol, and that's how I coped. I had to wean myself off these things in order for me to cope, and I have to cope, and I have to go on."

Sometimes people consider physical health as more important than mental health. The reality is that they both need our regular attention, and failing to take good care of ourselves physically and mentally is dangerous and even fatal. While God does not will for us to have partner sex outside of marriage, He wills for us to enjoy sex inside of marriage. God does not want any of us to be afraid of sexuality and try to stomp it out. God created sexuality. What God creates is good, beautiful and excellent provided we participate in God's creation according to His design. God designed sex to bond marital couples. Sexual sin doesn't have to stop us from enjoying fearless sex. Have you participated in killing an unborn boy or an unborn girl? If we are in relationship with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit, abortion and any other sin does not separate us from the love of God. Stop sinning, and shake off shame and condemnation. Enjoy friendships with the opposite sex and the same sex, and if marriage is God's will for you, also enjoy sex with your spouse. Refuse to allow shame and condemnation to steal the joy and the feast of sex with your spouse. God is the creator of human life in all its varieties. Exodus 4:11 Contemporary English Version Bible says, "But the Lord answered, “Who makes people able to speak or makes them deaf or unable to speak? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Don’t you know that I am the one who does these things?"

People in favor of abortion, sterilization, infanticide and "family planning" are against the human race. Margaret Sanger of Planned Parenthood says in an interview with Mike Wallace, "I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world that have a disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically, delinquents, prisoners, all sort of things, just marked when they are born. Clarence Gamble, a colleague of Margaret Sanger, and also a leader in the birth control movement, wrote in Hygeia, the health magazine of the American Medical Association, January 1948, "Why fear Sterilization?" to justify forced sterilization, "Most frequent of all is the need to prevent children from being born to parents whose reproductive cells carry well defined inheritable defects. In many cases the parents themselves are not defective; the defect may show up first in the birth of a defective child, but in certain types of defect this means a strong likelihood that other children born to the same couple will also be defective. In a hereditary form of blindness, for example, it would seem criminal to allow additional children to be born to lives of darkness."

Chen Guangcheng is blind. He is also the husband of Yuan Weijing and the father of Chen Kerui and Chen Kesi. Chen Guangcheng filed a class-action lawsuit in China in 2005 against forced abortion and forced sterilization practiced as part of China's one-child policy. China put him in jail and house arrest from which he escaped and is now living in New York with his family. Whether we live in China, North Carolina, other parts of America and other parts of the globe God loves us and desires for us to live well with great joy. God does not want us to be passive and refuse to participate in good deeds. Are you a victim of American state-sponsored sterilization? A Persian proverb says, "Opportunity should be grabbed." In North Carolina $10 million is to be split equally among those sterilized through the North Carolina Eugenics Board. North Carolina had a eugenics board from the 1930s through the 1970s through which social workers, family and others arranged for people to be sterilized. In South Africa Desmond Tutu retired as archbishop to head the Truth and Reconciliation Commission that exposed many of the evils done under apartheid, so that evil may be stopped and good promoted. North Carolina is not the only American state that did state-sponsored sterilizations. Cindy Trimm says in her book Commanding Your Morning, "Think big and think detailed!.... Become a visionary--be creative. Take the limits off your mind! Think beyond where you are.... Ask God to enlarge your capacity for thinking, to take the limits off." Other American states besides North Carolina and other nations need to apologize to, financially compensate victims and erase all forms of "family planning" evil. The door to evil has not been closed. US Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote in the 1927 Buck v. Bell case upholding American state-sponsored sterilization, "It is better for all the world, if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind. The principle that sustains compulsory vaccination is broad enough to cover cutting the Fallopian tubes.... Three generations of imbeciles are enough." Like Roe v. Wade which legalized abortion in America Buck v. Bell has not been overturned.

God made sex to be pleasurable. Some settle for pain.

A neighbor of Elaine Riddick settled for pain. He raped Elaine Riddick.

Pleasure and friendship are supposed to go together in God's design. A wife/lover says about her husband/lover in Song of Solomon 5:16 Amplified Bible, "His voice and speech are exceedingly sweet; yes, he is altogether lovely [the whole of him delights and is precious]. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem!"

A good, loving friend speaks well and seeks to do good deeds. A friend is faithful shutting the door of opportunity to evil. Elaine Riddick's unloving, unfriendly neighbor opened the door to personal and public pain and evil. Some may think, "Well, I'm not a rapist." Are you engaging in partner sex outside of marriage? If yes, you are also opening the door to pain and evil.

Looking for love Hannah Rose landed in uncommitted sexual relationships, abortion at Planned Parenthood and miscarriage. She writes in her September 2, 2013, http://www.roseandherlily.com/ blog post "Sometimes it's so hard to wrap my mind around it all... sometimes I am caught off guard with moments of grief, the grief of my loss of my two babies, as well as the loss of my innocence."

Elaine Riddick said in a CNN interview about her son, Tony Riddick, "Someone asked me a question the other day. How do we get along? Do I have certain feelings towards him as far as you know reminding me that he was a product of rape. No, that's my son, and I love him very much, and he's a special gift from God. That's how I look at it." 1 John 4:18-20 Amplified Bible says, "There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. We love Him, because He first loved us. If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen."

Fear of people causes death by abortion and all kinds of other evil. The spirit of fear is behind China's one-child policy. In 1995, when Guo Yanling was eight months pregnant, she was forced to abort her son. In 1999, she was forcibly sterilized. In 2006, she was imprisoned for not being able to pay a fine for having more than one child. The Chinese government also refused to issue household registrations to her and to her husband, Du Yiliang's, three children without which they are unable to attend school or receive government benefits. Guo Yanling's and Du Yiliang's abortion, sterilization, educational and economic terror experience is typical in China. "Numerous forced-abortion tragedies occur in China every single day," says Pastor Bob Fu, president of ChinaAid Association. What isn't nearly as typical is that with ChinaAid’s help, Guo Yanling and Du Yiliang have been granted refugee status by the UN High Commission on Refugees. Sex and the Disabled

God created love and sex not only to praise and worship Him, but also for the enjoyment and empowerment of the entire human race. Some try to stop it, but the bold and the disabled are not stopped from the joy of love, sex and children.

Disability rights activist Ed Roberts is paralyzed from the neck down. When he was a young person beginning to express interest in sex, some told him to give up on his dreams. But Ed turned his dreams into reality and now has a son conceived through sexual intercourse.

David Ring also did not listen to those who told him he wouldn't get married, have kids or preach because he has cerebral palsy. Ring got married, has four children and has preached to more than 6,000 churches internationally.

Sex researcher Alfred Kinsey found people enjoy expanded physical prowess under the influence of sexual arousal. Kinsey discovered that a stutterer loses his stutter. A person with cerebral palsy gains greater control of their muscles.

Some do not have God-sized thinking when it comes to empowering the disabled and others to live their dreams. Margaret Sanger was the founder of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). As an activist in the birth control and population control movements she advocated for the reduction of births among blacks, other people of color, the disabled and those of limited financial means. Planned Parenthood today is the largest provider of abortions to blacks, other people of color, the disabled and those of limited financial means. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a July 2009 New York Times interview says, "Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don't want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then setup for Medicaid funding for abortion."

Snuffing out blacks, other people of color, the disabled or people from families of limited financial means is not the solution to challenges; the solution is to find ways to have all of the human race participating in society at each individual's highest capacity. If we care about people, then we will help them to live the best possible life. Abortion is the antithesis of compassion.
 
1) Love overcomes obstacles. Abortion is marketed as a cheap and easy solution to eliminate people who pose challenges to the quality of life whereas love is costly. Love is expensive, but it is also valuable and helpful for living the best possible life. 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 Amplified Bible says, "Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end] . . . . "

Anupa Iyer kept hope alive in spite of being placed in various voluntary and involuntary psychiatric institutions where anti-depressant medications left her unable to read, write or engage in conversations. Iyer finished law school and is currently working for the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law in Washington, D.C.
 
2) Disability is an opportunity to open up abilities. Miracles often start with people asking, seeking and insisting on help. Never, never give up on finding a way out of the barriers disability encounters. 

Our thinking can be the biggest barrier. Ask God to totally take over our thought process. Small-mindedness is a slippery slope to the status quo and to stagnancy. Cry out to God for the disabled like the father did in response to Jesus recorded in Mark 9:23-24 New Living Translation Bible, and expect to receive miracles: "What do you mean, 'If I can'?" Jesus asked. "Anything is possible if a person believes." The father instantly cried out, "I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!"" 

Christian, Former U.S. four-term President Franklin Delano Roosevelt was disabled, and he fought to have the technology necessary to live the best possible life. Since he could not use his legs due to paralysis from polio, Roosevelt used hand controls to drive.



3) An abundant, enjoyable, full, overflowing life is for whosoever is willing to live in the ways of God. Disability does not have to stop someone from living a delightful, dynamic life. God welcomes all people to delightful, dynamic life. We can too. Christian, African American Marian Wright Edelman says, "When Jesus Christ asked little children to come to him, he didn't say only rich children, or White children, or children with two-parent families, or children who didn't have a mental or physical handicap. He said, "Let all children come unto me.""

If we are disabled or in a group some don't want too many if any of, God wants us all and gave us sexuality, sex and the right to life and reproduction for our joy and good. 

Talk With God Throughout Today: God, open opportunities for me and others to fully live the life You called us to live. Cause me to see the opportunities you have provided and to use them for your glory and the good of people.
