Worship God. Use money to please Him. God is for immigrants and other people. Deuteronomy 10:17-20 Amplified Bible says, "For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, the terrible God, Who is not partial and takes no bribe. He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger or temporary resident and gives him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger and sojourner, for you were strangers and sojourners in the land of Egypt. You shall [reverently] fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and by His name and presence you shall swear."
Satan, the enemy of God and all people, gets some people to use money to please Satan by doing evil. Desmond Tutu, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, wrote a June 2013 article for the Huffington Post explaining that the Chinese government uses money to pressure people to do its evil will and that it is likely that New York University was subjected to this pressure. Tutu writes, "The university's public relations people say they are not responding to pressure in letting Chen go. Their statements are well worked out. However, the Chinese government's actions have been fairly consistent with businesses or allied countries who fail to do their bidding when it comes to voices they do not approve of. They have squeezed companies financially, dropped contracts, and in other ways have repeatedly threatened and punished those "business partners" who fail to tow the line. When the Nobel Committee awarded the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize to dissident Liu Xiaobo, one of China's responses was to strangle the Norwegian fishing industry, cutting their fish imports by 60%. In my own country in 2011, Chinese pressure on the South African government resulted in His Holiness the Dalai Lama being denied a visa to attend my 80th birthday party. They have gone so far as to have Chinese embassies contact film festivals and request that films critical of China be pulled from the festival. And they have rewarded those influential individuals who do their bidding handsomely."
New York University can still do good by reinstating Chen Guangcheng. Chen Guangcheng is a lawyer, human rights activist, blind and speaks Chinese. In 2005 he filed a class-action lawsuit against Chinese officials involved in forced abortions and forced sterilizations. China put him in jail. Then in house arrest. Chen Guangcheng escaped from house arrest and became a US immigrant along with his wife, Yuan Weijing, and their two children, Chen Kerui and Chen Kesi.
It's good for America to know about evil in other countries and those who are fighting against it. Helping these fighters to be successful helps to end evil in China and other countries.
We need many good fighters. Some of the evil in China is in America. Elaine Riddick was raped at 13. Then North Carolina state forcibly sterilized her. The sterilization was legal according to a 1933 law that allowed government workers to forcibly sterilize people deemed 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic.' In the United States more than 60,000 people have been forcibly sterilized. Gianna Jessen was born with cerebral palsy due to an attempted abortion. Jessen survived the abortion. However, since 1973 more than 55 million girls and boys have been killed by abortion.
New York University should go out of it's way to help Chen Guangcheng.
America shouldn't help terrorists and criminals. On April 9, 2013, Chen Guangcheng provided Congress with a list of 44 Chinese officials who have been persecuting his family and recommended that they be investigated and denied US immigration based on crimes committed. Congressman Chris Smith made the same recommendation in a July 29, 2013, letter to Secretary of State John Kerry which also included a request that Secretary Kerry meet with or contact Chen Guangcheng to learn about the human rights situation in China.
America should help freedom fighters and immigrants. Recently, an African American woman asked if I needed a green card. I was born an American citizen. English was a foreign language to me then, but now I am fluent. I also did not pay a dime to become a citizen.
At one tragic time in American history African Americans who were free had to carry on themselves emancipation papers explaining how they obtained their freedom.
Wouldn't it please God to end abortion and forced sterilization? Wouldn't it please God to welcome immigrants offering them citizenship and to cut government waste like green cards? Write to:

Wisdom, Power and Diversity
God welcomes people without getting stuck in a web of sin. He wants us to do likewise. God the Son Jesus Christ is Wisdom and Power that He gives to creyentes (believers) for living the good life He promised us. "Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me, but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its power" (1 Corinthians 6:12 Amplified Bible.)
A Chinese proverb says, "No one's ten fingers are all the same length" meaning "You cannot expect that everyone will be like you." Paul, an apostle of God, was a keen observer of people who found multiple things in the way people are and act to show and tell them about God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit and to unite them into the family of God which has love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. Paul celebrated diversity without practicing Biblical disobedience.
Patience is about cultivating consistent godly character not about putting off godly action. Un dicho (a proverb) says, "No hay tiempo como el presente" ("There is no time like the present.") Christian Minister and Civil Rights Activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., said in his August 28, 1963, I Have A Dream speech given at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., "Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood .... There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights." 1 Corinthians 13:6 New Living Translation Bible says about love, "It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out." Another word for injustice is wrongdoing. 1 Corinthians 13:6 English Standard Version Bible says about love, "It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth." The truth is God created equal people of all races, sexes, ethnicity, ages and abilities; He expects us to love Him and to love all people not make exemptions for wrongdoing.
While racial and other wrongdoing still exists today, legal segregation doesn't; also African Americans are more fully enjoying citizenship rights than in 1963. What are some wonderful ways from African American heritage to lead people to Jesus Christ and to more fully enjoy American citizenship? Write to:

Sex, Money and Love
Money is necessary to take care of many needs and wants. Generally having a lot of money is better than having a little money provided money is kept in its proper perspective. 1 Timothy 6:10-11 Amplified Bible says, "For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart." A ChinaAid News March 24, 2013, "With ChinaAid's Help, Two Victims of China's One-Child Policy Granted UNHCR Refugee Status" article reports that in 1995, when Guo Yanling was eight months pregnant, she was forced to have an abortion. In 1999, she was forcibly sterilized. In 2006, she was imprisoned for not being able to pay a fine for having more than one child. The Chinese government also refused to issue household registrations to her and to her husband, Du Yiliang's, three children without which they are unable to attend school or to receive government benefits. Guo Yanling's and Du Yiliang's abortion, sterilization, educational and economic terror experience is typical in China. The Chinese government collects many fines related to its one-child family. Since 1971 in China there have been 336 million abortions, 222 million sterilizations and two trillion in fines in Chinese currency (Ma Jian, "China's Brutal One-Child Policy," The New York Times, 5/22/2013.) A connection between economic policy, economic practice and population control is in America also. Thirty-two US states practiced eugenics programs before and after World War II that included forced sterilization of the disabled. The 1927 Buck v. Bell Supreme Court decision ruled that forced sterilization of people with disabilities was not a violation of their constitutional rights. By the 1970s, more than 60,000 disabled people were sterilized without their consent.
North Carolina became the first US state legislature to approve payment to victims of government-run forced sterilization programs. Ten million is to be shared by each victim through an one-time payment on June 30, 2015. ""The money don't take up the place of what happened," said Willis Lynch, an 80-year-old retired handyman who was sterilized at age 14 after being deemed mentally unfit. "I'm glad they did something, though."
Mr. Lynch said he was sent to a school for the mentally and developmentally disabled after his widowed mother could no longer care for her seven children. Records from the state's eugenics board show that in the late 1940s no one from that school was to leave without being sterilized, except in cases where children had been committed in error" ("NC offers $10M to victims in forced-sterilization- NC ends pay boosts for teacher master's," Bayou Buzz, July 26, 2013.)
Instead of using money to stop people from having children, God calls creyentes (believers) to use money to help self and other people. Luke 16:9 New Living Translation Bible says, "Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your earthly possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home." Jeremiah 22:1-3 Contemporary English Version Bible says, "The Lord sent me to the palace of the king of Judah to speak to the king, his officials, and everyone else who was there. The Lord told me to say: I am the Lord, so pay attention! You have been allowing people to cheat, rob, and take advantage of widows, orphans, and foreigners who live here. Innocent people have become victims of violence, and some of them have even been killed. But now I command you to do what is right and see that justice is done. Rescue everyone who has suffered from injustice."
Some government leaders believe the only way to help widows, orphans, foreigners and others is through communism. China and Cuba are communist countries. "Communism doesn't work in Cuba. Really, the Cuban government has supported communism to repress its people," says Berta Soler, leader of Las Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White,) a Cuban human-rights organization formed by the wives and mothers of 75 dissidents jailed in a 2003 government crackdown on political opponents. Ladies in White participate in a weekly march and in weekly attendance at Mass dressed in white to encourage the Cuban government to free all political prisoners.
Good relationships, having more than enough resources, freedom and justice are biblical ideas. In America we have a national motto "In God We Trust." God calls us to be good to creyentes and to non-believers. Matthew 5:44-48 English Standard Version says, "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
God made sex. What God makes is good, very good. Occasionally children are created as the result of God's will and sexual relations. Love celebrates and cultivates life. China Aid helped Guo Yanling, Du Yiliang and their children to become refugees in Thailand. Shouldn't all countries be welcoming to victims of China's one-child policy? Shouldn't the killing of unborn girls and unborn boys be illegal globally? Shouldn't all 32 US states compensate victims of forced sterilization? Write to:

Kill That Beast
God makes it simple for us to enter into a relationship with Him. God did all the work. We just receive Him. John 1:12-13 Amplified Bible says, "But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]"
Is it simple to have a relationship with you? A Twi African proverb says, "Love is the greatest of all virtues." 1 Corinthians 13:5 Amplified Bible says about love, "It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]."
God loves people of all sexes, ages, races, ethnicity and abilities. He wants us to do likewise.
The human body is a work of divine art. God starts human life from sperm and egg uniting ideally through merry, marital sexual relations.
Don't kill unborn girls and unborn boys through abortion. "Kill that beast. Let your new creature appear" ("Kill That" song on CD Kingdom Business 4 by Christian Rapper Canton Jones.) Colossians 3:5-10 Amplified Bible says, "So kill (deaden, deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin]: sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God). It is on account of these [very sins] that the [holy] anger of God is ever coming upon the sons of disobedience (those who are obstinately opposed to the divine will), Among whom you also once walked, when you were living in and addicted to [such practices]. But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips! Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old (unregenerate) self with its evil practices, And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it."
A Japanese proverb says, "Do quickly what is good." Now is the time to kill that beast and let your new creature appear. Waiting for any other time is a deception.
A Chinese proverb says, "To plug the ears while stealing the bell" and means "to deceive oneself." What are some ways people deceive themselves in trying to pursue loving relationships? Write to:

A Good Mind
"No matter the day no matter the time make up in your mind to take over your life and choose to be successful. I'm goin' have a good day .... Folks try to get in your head to try to make you feel mislead. Don't give them that control. They're trying to keep you from your goal," sings Gospel Singer James Moss on his CD V4 ... The Other Side in the song "Good Day."
God made His people reinas y reyes (queens and kings). Queens and kings are called to show the love of God which requires us to manage our minds. The Apostle Paul, a Jew and Christian with Roman citizenship, wrote in Philippians 1:10 Amplified Bible, "So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value [recognizing the highest and the best, and distinguishing the moral differences], and that you may be untainted and pure and unerring and blameless [so that with hearts sincere and certain and unsullied, you may approach] the day of Christ [not stumbling nor causing others to stumble]."
"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States, according to Wikipedia, a nonprofit on-line library. The anthem says, "And this be our motto: "In God is our trust." And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"
A Japanese proverb says, "There is nothing more costly than what's free."
To be brave and free requires much effort and expense. The book of Joshua is probably written by Joshua, a Jew who was a slave in Egypt and became a leader of the free nation of Israel. Joshua 1:8 Amplified Bible says, "This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success." Proverbs 18:15 Amplified Bible says, "The mind of the prudent is ever getting knowledge, and the ear of the wise is ever seeking (inquiring for and craving) knowledge."
Jeremiah 1:5 Amplified Bible says about the prophet Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Yet in America, China and other places it is legal to kill unborn girls and unborn boys.
When the law is a lie it needs to be changed. All lies need to be turned to the Truth. John 8:31-32 Amplified Bible says, "So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." Truth is another name for God the Son Jesus Christ who is good to both believers and non-believers.
As you manage your mind today what are some lies someone is trying to tell you? How did you apply the Truth? Write to:

Right Makes Might
Christian Minister T.D. Jakes writes in his book Let It Go Forgive So You Can Be Forgiven, "I am a lover of people who have big ideas! I love the way they envision the world as an expansive landscape of ever-growing possibilities. What others see as insurmountable mountains or treacherous waters, they view as giant-sized opportunities and limitless horizons. I love to hear them talk because through them my own ideas are watered and fertilized by my exposure to their way of thinking." Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma was fighting apartheid in South Africa. Through the efforts of many apartheid fell. Apartheid comes from the spirit of fear whose author is Satan/the devil of the kingdom of darkness. Sadly the continent of Africa has many places where the spirit of fear lives. Gladly Africa also has many places where another spirit lives. Today Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is head of the African Union and is seeking the big ideas of Africa's development and the dismissal of the devil. 2 Timothy 1:7 Amplified Bible says, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control."
Everyone needs to ask God for a new spirit. John 3:1-5 Amplified Bible says, "Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (a leader, an authority) among the Jews, Who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know and are certain that You have come from God [as] a Teacher; for no one can do these signs (these wonderworks, these miracles—and produce the proofs) that You do unless God is with him. Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb again and be born? Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God."
When Angela Yuan was a new creyente (believer) she prayed, "Lord, give me strength to face this new day. Help me be the light of Christ in this family" (Out Of A Far Country A gay son's journey to God. A broken mother's search for hope.)
God wants us to pray and to push each day for His global goodness. Iran is ruled by the spirit of fear. Christian Minister and US Citizen Saeed Abedini is in Evin prison Tehran, Iran, because of his Christian faith and works. His wife, Naghmeh Abedini, is praying and pushing. Recently, Naghmeh Abedini spoke to the United Nations to pressure Iran to free Saeed Abedini. We can pray and push too by writing Saeed Abedini a letter and signing a petition to save Saeed Abedini at the website http://www.savesaeed.org.
Just do it now. Christian Minister Joyce Meyer writes in her book Making Good Habits Breaking Bad Habits, "I once heard a story about three demons who were graduating from their course on how to deceive people in the world and prevent them from knowing God. Satan was questioning each demon, and he asked each one how he would deceive people. The first one answered that he would tell people there was no God. Satan answered, "You won't deceive many because most people down deep inside of them do believe God exists even if they have not chosen to follow Him." The second demon said he would tell people that heaven and hell didn't really exist. Satan said, "You will deceive a few more than your coworker, but you won't get many souls either." The third demon said that he would tell people that there was no hurry, and they could put off the decision to follow God until another time. Satan got excited and said loudly, "You will reap many souls for the kingdom of darkness by simply telling them to make the decision later."
The spirit of fear from the kingdom of darkness can seem mighty and make some put off praying and pushing for its defeat and God's global goodness. Former US President Abraham Lincoln said, "It has been said of the world's history hitherto that might makes right. It is for us and for our time to reverse the maxim, and to say that right makes might."

Self-Less God-More
The Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 5:13-14 Amplified Bible, "For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another. For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself." Paul incorporated people into his life and was especially fond of seeking out those who didn't know God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit and introducing God, Paul and other creyentes (believers) to each other. Paul's growth as a creyente included the growth of others.
Mary Church Terrell, a civil rights activist and women's rights activist, believed that self-development goes with the development of others. Terrell said in her speech The Progress Of Colored Women, "Not only because they are women, but because they are colored women are discouragement and disappointment meeting them at every turn. But in spite of the obstacles encountered, the progress made by colored women along many lines appears like a veritable miracle of modern times."
The miracle Terrell talked about didn't come through selfishness. After talking about the lives and accomplishments of various colored women Terrell also said, "Lifting as they climb, onward and upward they go struggling and striving and hoping that the buds and blossoms of their desires may burst into glorious fruition ere long."
Selfishness may seem beneficial, but it's a lie. Nick Vujicic is of Serbian heritage, born in Australia without arms or legs and immigrant to America. Vujicic is married to Kanae Loida Vujicic-Miyahara, who is of Latino and Japanese heritage. Together they have a son named Kiyoshi James Vujicic. Vujicic says in his book Limitless Devotions for a Ridiculously Good Life, "The kind of self-love and self-acceptance I advocate is not about loving yourself in a self-absorbed, conceited way. The self-love I encourage is self-less. You give more than you take. You offer without being asked. You share when you don't have much. You find happiness by making others smile. You love yourself because you are not all about yourself. You are happy with who you are because you make others happy to be around you."
We all have a tendency toward self-more. The self-more is stingy with people and has to be fought consistently. Victory is possible through God-more. In April 2013 Governor Mary Fallin signed into law the Oklahoma Nondiscrimination in Treatment Act which prevents healthcare providers from denying people lifesaving treatment "on the basis of a view that treats extending the life of an elderly, disabled, or terminally ill individual as of lower value than extending the life of an individual who is younger, nondisabled, or not terminally ill." God loves people of all ages, races, sexes and abilities; God wants us to imitate Him.
Peter Baker reports in The New York Times July 3, 2013, article "Bush a Fond Presence in Africa for Work During and Since His Presidency" that former US President George W. Bush has been in Africa renovating clinics and expanding screening and treatment programs to fight cervical cancer. Bush has also been a long-time friend of immigrants, unborn girls and unborn boys.
Fred Hammond was an unborn boy who survived an attempted abortion. Hammond is also a Gospel singer and father of Breeann Michelle Hammond and Darius Sean Hammond who says in a "Thank You Prelude" prayer at the beginning of Fred Hammond's CD Love Unstoppable, "Lord bless my dad, my mom, my sister, the president and all my family and friends. Lord bless everyone who hears this CD .... And most of all bless someone to be better friends with you because of my dad's music. In Jesus' name. Amen."
May God bless the Senate to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Protection Act; may God bless the House to pass immigration reform; may God bless President Barak Obama to sign both into US law; may God bless an unlimited number of people to become better friends with Him.

Big-Hearted Is Best For All People
1 Timothy 6:17-19 Amplified Bible says, "As for the rich in this world, charge them not to be proud and arrogant and contemptuous of others, nor to set their hopes on uncertain riches, but on God, Who richly and ceaselessly provides us with everything for [our] enjoyment. [Charge them] to do good, to be rich in good works, to be liberal and generous of heart, ready to share [with others], In this way laying up for themselves [the riches that endure forever as] a good foundation for the future, so that they may grasp that which is life indeed." Mary Church Terrell was born into a family of wealth. Her father, Robert Church, although born a slave became the South's first African American millionaire. Instead of leading a life of pride, arrogance and contempt for others, Mary Church Terrell led a life of good works.
Terrell was a founder of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a speaker, writer and activist for freedom and equal rights for African Americans and for women of all races. Terrell was big-hearted. Booker T. Washington and W.E.B Du Bois were black leaders with different views on how to achieve African American progress. Terrell saw merit and areas of disagreement in both perspectives; yet she helped both men.
She also was a married woman who helped women of all races. Terrell worked with suffragists Susan B. Anthony and Carrie Chapman Catt. After American women gained the right to vote in 1920 Terrell organized women to become active in the Republican Party and in international groups. Terrell said, "We believe we can build the foundation of the next generation upon such a rock of morality, intelligence, and strength, that the floods of proscription, prejudice and persecution may descend upon it in torrents and yet it will not be moved."
While everyone will not be materially wealthy, God calls everyone to be big-hearted. Proscription, prejudice and persecution are heart problems. The remedy is the love of God living on the inside of creyentes (believers) and overflowing on the outside. 1 Corinthians 13:3-7 Amplified Bible says about love, "Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or in order that I may glory, but have not love (God’s love in me), I gain nothing. Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]."
The enemy of love, Satan, is always working to make our hearts small. While American women got the vote in 1920, in 1924 the US Immigration Act shut down almost all immigration from Asia and in 1973 the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision stole the right to life from unborn girls and unborn boys.
A Chinese proverb says, "It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness." The US House of Representatives lit a candle recently by passing the Pain-Capable Unborn Protection Act which protects the life of unborn girls and unborn boys age 20 weeks and older. The Senate also lit a candle by passing immigration reform.
Un dicho says, "Clamor del pueblo sube al cielo" ("The outcry of a people rises to heaven.")
Now is a good time to pray passionately to God that the Senate will pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the House will pass immigration reform and President Barak Obama will sign both into law.

Open Your Heart To God, The Unborn, Immigrants And Others
Out of our relationship with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit our relationship with self improves and if we have a spouse our relationship with our spouse improves. Improvement is not automatic. God gives His creyentes (believers) His Holy Spirit to live inside of us giving us power to improve, but we can choose not to use God's power which angers and grieves God. 2 Corinthians 3:18 Amplified Bible says, "And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit."
If we don't read God's Bible and live it, our relationships will not improve. Another name for God the Son Jesus Christ is the Word. God never meant for us to just have relationships with Him, ourselves and our spouse. God wants is to have many high quality relationships. Luke 10:25-28 Complete Jewish Bible says, "An expert in Torah stood up to try and trap him by asking, “Rabbi, what should I do to obtain eternal life?” But Yeshua said to him, “What is written in the Torah? How do you read it?” He answered, “You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your understanding; and your neighbor as yourself.” “That’s the right answer,” Yeshua said. “Do this, and you will have life.”"
Who are our neighbors? Luke 10:37 Complete Jewish Bible says, "He answered, “The one who showed mercy toward him.” Yeshua said to him, “You go and do as he did.”"
The United States House of Representatives has shown mercy to the unborn by passing the Pain-Capable Unborn Protection Act. Now the US Senate needs to do likewise. The US Senate has shown mercy to immigrants by passing immigration reform. Now the US House needs to do likewise.
Christian Minister and Civil Rights Activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., said in his speech Remaining Awake Through A Great Revolution, "Somewhere we must come to see that human progress never rolls in on the wheels of inevitability. It comes through the tireless efforts and the persistent work of dedicated individuals who are willing to be co-workers with God. And without this hard work, time itself becomes an ally of the primitive forces of social stagnation. So we must help time and realize that the time is always ripe to do right."
Christian Ministers Priscilla and Aquila were married and had a church in their home. They were friends with the single Christian Minister Paul. Neither Priscilla, Aquila or Paul limited themselves to their relationships with God, self and spouse. They all enthusiastically sought to relate to diverse, multiple people sharing God and themselves with others.
Priscilla, Aquila and Paul were fulfilled people who desired that others were like them. Acts 26:28-29 Contemporary English Version Bible says, "Agrippa asked Paul, “In such a short time do you think you can talk me into being a Christian?” Paul answered, “Whether it takes a short time or a long time, I wish you and everyone else who hears me today would become just like me! Except, of course, for these chains.”"
Paul wrote in Romans 12:9 Contemporary English Version Bible, "Be sincere in your love for others. Hate everything that is evil and hold tight to everything that is good." Abortionists are not examples of sincere lovers. Abortionist Kermit Gosnell is in jail for killing people. Sadly other abortionists like him are not in jail and are still killing unborn babies and women. Chen Guangcheng, a husband, father of two children and human-rights lawyer who became blind as a child in China is now an American immigrant. Chen Guangcheng says that China's one-child policy with forced abortions and forced sterilizations affect the unborn, women and men. ""And a few days ago, in Xinyi, Jiangsu Province, local thugs beat up a woman who had more than one child because she couldn't afford the social maintenance fees," he added, referring to the penalty women had to pay for having more than one child.
"These things are still happening."
Chen said typically in these cases, pregnant women were seized by the National Health and Family Planning Commission officials and taken away.
"They would go to your home, drag you from your bed - you wouldn't be allowed to put on your clothes - put you in the car, drive you to hospital and you would be operated on. They would abort your baby whatever the conditions were - so long as you hadn't given birth to the child."
Chen said local officials would be under pressure to use all means possible to ensure the one-child policy.
"Not only women, but many men were forcibly sterilised. Both men and women were victims," he said (A May 23, 2013 Reuters Chen Guangcheng interview.)
ChinaAid, a human-rights organization, reports that husband and farmer Zhang Futao was beat up and hospitalized in May 2013 because he and his wife had three children in violation of China's one-child policy.
Sakura is the Japanese word for the cherry blossom flower. Sakura has a variety of meanings including beauty, purity and the fleeting nature of earthly existence. Since we don't live long, why not live well?
Open your heart wide to people. If you have God, you have the power to do it, and God commands us to do it. Zechariah 7:8-10 New Living Translation Bible says, "Then this message came to Zechariah from the Lord: “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other."

Generosity Or Greed?
The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are Christian ideals that are rooted in the love of God and stated in the American Declaration of Independence. Gospel Singer Anita Wilson sings in the song "Shower The People" on her album Worship Soul, "Just shower the people you love with love. Show them the way that you feel. Things are goin' work out fine if you only will do as I say. Shower the people you love with love. Show them the way that you feel. Things are goin' to be much better if you only will."
God loves His friends and His foes and wants His creyentes (believers) to also love friends and foes. Some foes turn out to be friends.
America is filled with creyentes, but sometimes in America's past and present we have had trouble loving people like God does. The 1913 California Alien Land Law prevented people who were not citizens or not eligible to become citizens from owing land. At the time most Asian Americans were prevented by law from becoming citizens.
Un dicho (a proverb) says, "Que lindo es vivir para amar; que grande es tener para dar" ("How beautiful it is to live and love; how great it is to have and give.") Jesus Christ warns us against greediness when He says in Luke 12:15 New Living Translation, "...“Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”"
God teaches us to be generous to the oppressed and others. Some people leave their country because of hostility at home. Actor and Activist Christian Bale attempted unsuccessfully in 2011 to visit Chen Guangcheng, a human-rights lawyer, in China when Chen Guangcheng was under house arrest for filing a 2005 class-action lawsuit against officials involved in forced abortions and forced sterilizations practiced as part of China's one-child policy. Chen Guangcheng left China in May 2012 and is now living in America. Christian Bale said when presenting Chen Guangcheng with a human rights award at the annual gala of Human Rights First, "He [Chen] had exposed a program of forced abortion and sterilization in Shandong. A program of forced abortion means that women are being dragged from their homes against their will. They are being forced to have abortions, sometimes late-term -- imagine that -- with some women reportedly dying in the process. Now this is true horror. And in this insane world, this man, Chen, who was helping these women -- who was living by some of the most simple, brave and universally admired values -- values that we teach our children every day, and helping our fellow man -- for this, this man was imprisoned and beaten for over four years."
God wants us spiritually, mentally, physically, financially -- in all ways -- to be like Him now and eternally. Pray for change in China. Pray also for countries globally to pass immigration, abortion and other laws that love a diversity of people. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 Amplified Bible says, "First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way. For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth."

Stop Excluding People. Reform Immigration Now!
1 Peter 2:9 New Living Translation Bible says, "But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light." God wants creyentes (believers) to do good like He does good. God also wants creyentes to enjoy the best of this earthly life without idolizing things or people.
One good thing to have is citizenship. The Apostle Paul, a Jew who had Roman citizenship, wrote most of the New Testament. African Americans gained American citizenship via the 14th amendment to the US constitution. Rafael Damani Fowler and I are African Americans, and we value and enjoy our US citizenship.
We also pray that as our legislature is considering immigration reform that many others who are currently being denied US citizenship but value and desire to enjoy it will be granted US citizenship. Diversity in America is good for Americans and people globally. Diversity in America is a world witness as America is the world's leading nation.
Nick Vujicic is of Serbian heritage but born in Australia. Later in life he moved to the United States of America. Vujicic was born without arms and legs not because of a botched abortion but because of tetra-amelia syndrome. Ana Rosa Rodriguez was born without an arm because of a botched abortion. Vujicic, a husband, a father, an evangelist, a motivational speaker, head of the non-profit organization Life Without Limbs and author, writes in his book Limitless Devotions for a Ridiculously Good Life, "Researchers found that many who successfully deal with physical adversity actually grow in positive ways, including these:
* They realize they are stronger than they thought, and they tend to recover more quickly from future challenges.
* They discover who truly cares about them, and those relationships grow stronger.
* They put greater value on each day and on the good things in their lives.
* They become stronger spiritually."
Rafael Damani Fowler and I enjoy listening to CDs which were invented by the Japanese. Gospel singer Andrea Helms says in her song "Changed" on the CD Ultimate Gospel vol. 2 Women of Gospel Spirit Rising that she was not supposed to be born. She says about the time before she was born, "The doctors said that I would never walk that I would never talk that I would be nothing ... but I was born healthy." Doctors and other medical professionals know a lot, but they are not all-knowing like God. Doctors and others were not able to tell me that my son, Rafael, has autism, but it's okay. Rafael is glad to be alive instead of aborted.
Un dicho (a proverb) says, "No hay tiempo como el presente ("There is no time like the present.") Now is a good time to pass immigration reform not like the wicked US Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 but a law that welcomes people, doesn't burden them financially and treats them with equality.
