God loves people. God wants us to experience joy. One of the ways God designed for people to experience joy is inside of marriage and marital sex. Read my article "Novel Sex" at http://michelefjackson.blogspot.com/2013/01/novel-sex_21.html.
Satan does not love people. Satan does not want people to experience joy. Consequently, Satan influences people to misuse sexuality.
Elaine Riddick was raped at the age of 13 and became pregnant. Instead of receiving help from the state of North Carolina, she was sterilized without her consent while giving birth to her son and only child. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFJNX5bHYVI.
Some people in the past and in the present think forcible sterilization is healthcare. One non-profit organization, the Human Betterment League of North Carolina, was founded by Clarence Gamble, M.D., and James Hanes. Gamble described people as "mental defectives" and "hopeless mental cripples" in the Better Health Magazine of the North Carolina Social Hygiene Society, October 1947, "Better Human Beings Tomorrow A Doctor Discusses Frankly The Process of Sterilization And Argues For Wider Use Of Sterilization." Gamble also wrote that "Tomorrow's population should be produced by today's best human material." People should be forcibly sterilized according to Gamble, who was the grandson of James Gamble, co-founder of Procter and Gamble, "Thus, when a mentally defective person produces a child -- even though that child may be normal -- it will carry a certain number of defective seeds to plant in future generations to the detriment of grandchildren or even great grandchildren."
Gamble's viewpoint is connected to eugenic thinking. Eugenics is a "science" developed by Francis Galton, a cousin of Evolutionist Charles Darwin, that advocates for the reproduction of certain people and for the elimination of other people, usually the disabled, low-income and those who are not of certain European heritage. A brochure of the North Carolina Justice for Sterilization Victims Foundation describes eugenics as, "The concept or term eugenics refers to the intentional and selective breeding of humans and animals to rid the population of characteristics deemed unfit by those administering this practice. In the U.S., eugenics was carried out by individuals, nonprofit organizations and state governments that felt that human reproduction should be controlled."
Gamble also wrote in "Better Human Beings Tomorrow" about those who "pour defective genes into the State's blood stream to pollute and degrade future generations," "Once sterilized, many men and women who would otherwise have to spend their lives in confinement can live in a more normal, satisfying way outside of institutions. In some cases it is possible for mental defectives to marry and be reasonably self-supporting; if they are not required to assume the responsibility of rearing children. Feebleminded girls, who frequently pose a serious and embarrassing problem to both family and community, may be permitted to live at home as useful members of the family circle."
Eugenics became the law across America and still impacts people today. The 1927 Buck v. Bell US Supreme Court decision which upheld eugenic sterilization has not been overturned. If you have family and friends in North Carolina, please let them know about state financial compensation to victims of sterilization. Ten million is to be split equally. Compensation claims must be filed by June 30, 2014, for victims to receive a one-time payment to be distributed June 30, 2015. North Carolina had a eugenics board from the 1930s through the 1970s through which social workers, family and others arranged for people to be sterilized. If you think you are one of the victims, you can ask the North Carolina Justice for Sterilization Victims Foundation to check the North Carolina Eugenic Board's records by completing and mailing them this form: http://www.sterilizationvictims.nc.gov/documents/FirstPartyVerificationform.pdf. If you are not a victim, but are related to a victim, you can ask the North Carolina Justice for Sterilization Victims Foundation to check the North Carolina Eugenic Board's records by completing and mailing them this form with required attachments: http://www.sterilizationvictims.nc.gov/documents/ThirdPartyVerificationform.pdf. These forms are verification and not a guarantee of compensation. If you have filed a verification form, please share your experience and inspire others. Write to:

Eugenics does not only involve sterilization, it also involves abortion and "family planning." Watch this Maafa 21 video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02t3Wqg-4Iw. Watch this video about China's one-child policy which includes forced abortion, forced sterilization, infanticide and for a discussion between true contraception and false "family planning": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVROC-2Gi8I.
John 10:10 Amplified Bible says, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)." So it really shouldn't be surprising that there are those influenced by Satan who are advocates of abortion, sterilization, "family planning" and even infanticide.
Each year in America 1.2 million unborn people are killed by abortion which is roughly the same number of Salvadoran Americans in the US currently. Abortion does not effect one group of people. Sadly unborn girls and unborn boys from all groups of people are being killed by abortion. Sadly sometimes adolescents and adults are being killed by abortion and their abortionists are continuing to practice despite the killing. Watch these videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60C87TaxpQQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCoxHlIzhgw.
America, China and other countries need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Much of the evil of abortion, sterilization, infanticide and "family planning" is hidden and not yet made right. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-17 Amplified Bible says, "See that none of you repays another with evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and seek to do good to one another and to everybody. Be happy [in your faith] and rejoice and be glad-hearted continually (always); Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly]." Have you seen an unethical and/or illegal act at an abortion clinic in America? Watch this video and become a whistle blower: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzllEerlmIE.

Truth And Reconciliation Needed, Part 3
At the time when the Revolutionary War was being fought free African Americans did not have the same rights as other Americans because laws discriminated against persons of African heritage. Nevertheless, as a African American teenager James Forten joined an American ship called the Royal Lewis to help Americans win the Revolutionary War against the British. In a battle the Royal Lewis was surrounded by three British ships, so the American crew surrendered. Forten was at risk of becoming a slave as British sailors sometimes sold prisoners of African heritage into slavery.
One day Forten and other boy prisoners of war were playing a game of marbles. The British captain's son joined the game, and he and Forten became friends. Forten wasn't sold as a slave.
Later Forten married and had nine children. He also became one of Philadelphia's wealthiest people and a freedom fighter against slavery and for women's right to vote. Read more about James Forten, his family and his legacy in my article "Big is Beautiful" http://michelefjackson.blogspot.com/2013/02/big-is-beautiful.html.
James 1:2-4 New Living Translation Bible says, "Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing." God is not asking us to consider evil joy, but He is asking us to be developed for good to overcome evil. Forten's experience as a prisoner of war was an experience used to turn him into a warrior for freedom. Elaine Riddick experienced evil and used the experience to become a fighter for life. Desmond Tutu lived during apartheid in South Africa. He also lived to head the Truth and Reconciliation Commission where many victims and perpetrators of apartheid discussed the deeds done during apartheid, so that they might be known and never done again.
T.D. Jakes writes in his book T.D. Jakes Speaks on Power, "Why are the anointed persecuted? Anointed people are free people. The Word of God says that "where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Cor. 3:17). Wicked leadership and stubborn, sedate people who have taken counsel against the Lord, do not like free people, because free people can't be controlled."
Wicked people consider anointed people unfit to live. Elaine Riddick was sterilized by people who practiced eugenics. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFJNX5bHYVI. Eugenics is a "science" developed by Francis Galton, a cousin of Evolutionist Charles Darwin, that advocates for the reproduction of certain people and for the elimination of other people, usually the disabled, low-income and those who are not of certain European heritage. China has a one-child policy. "China likes to use violence to crush people like me," says Chen Guangcheng in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doiWP2SQx2E. In 2005 Chen Guangcheng filed a class-action lawsuit against Chinese officials involved in forced abortions and forced sterilizations. Chen Guangcheng is involved with the Defending Freedoms Project which is an effort of multiple groups including the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission to increase attention and support for human rights and religious freedom through focusing on prisoners of conscience across the globe. Members of Congress "adopt" prisoners of conscience to advocate for their release. Pastor Saeed Abedini is a dual national of the US via naturalization and Iran by birth and is currently in Evin prison in Iran because of his Christian faith and works. Advocate for Pastor Abedini's release by prayer, by writing him a letter and by signing a petition at http://www.savesaeed.org.
Chen Guangcheng is blind. Being blind or having some other disability is not a reason to abort or to sterilize someone. God values all human life. Read my article "Embrace Disability. Reject Abortion" http://michelefjackson.blogspot.com/2013/02/embrace-disability-reject-abortion.html.
Amor primero, amor postrero (Love, first and last). God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit is Love always. Love is willing and able to overcome evil. Some say it is not possible to get abortion, sterilization and family planning out of America, China and other places. Truth And Reconciliation Needed
Tony Riddick is an entrepreneur with three businesses. He is also the son and only child of Elaine Riddick who was raped at age 13 in North Carolina by a man living in her neighborhood.
At the time of the rape, Elaine Riddick lived in a two-bedroom house with her grandmother, Maggie Woodard, known as "Miss Peaches". After her rape North Carolina state staff compelled Miss Peaches, who was illiterate, to sign a form if she wanted to continue to receive public assistance including food stamps. Miss Peaches signed the form with an "X" that permitted the state to sterilize Elaine Riddick without her consent.
North Carolina's actions were legal and based on a 1933 law similar to the Virginia sterilization law upheld in the 1927 US Supreme Court Buck v. Bell decision. Watch Elaine Riddick tell her story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFJNX5bHYVI.
Desmond Tutu retired as archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa, in 1996 to head the Truth and Reconciliation Commission where many victims and perpetrators of apartheid discussed the deeds done during apartheid. America needs a truth and reconciliation commission on state-sponsored sterilization. Nationwide more than 60,000 documented cases of state-sponsored sterilization exist based on the type of sterilization law upheld in Buck v. Bell. Also all government records of sterilization have not been made public.
Proverbs 18:15 Amplified Bible says, "The mind of the prudent is ever getting knowledge, and the ear of the wise is ever seeking (inquiring for and craving) knowledge." Like the 1973 US Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade legalized abortion and has not been reversed, neither has the 1927 Buck v. Bell decision legalizing sterilization. In 1974 Elaine Riddick filed a lawsuit accusing the North Carolina Eugenics Board, social workers and the local hospital of unlawfully depriving her of the right to bear children. The US Supreme Court refused to hear her case.
Unjust acts need a hearing, so that knowledge and truth can be tools to right wrongs. Abortion has received more public attention than sterilization. Over the years information made public about abortion has revealed knowledge and truth that abortion kills unborn girls and unborn boys in the first-trimester, second-trimester and third-trimester of pregnancy, and abortion also has taken the life of adolescents and adults. Read my article "Thoughts About Abortion" at http://michelefjackson.blogspot.com/2013/01/thoughts-about-abortion.html.
Abortion is involved in many areas of sexuality and reproduction. Sometimes fertility treatments result in more human lives than a couple desires. Gladys Flores and Jose Abel del Cid went through fertility treatment expecting one or two children. Instead five were conceived. Some people will abort some of the multiple babies. But this couple did not. The Salvadoran quintuplets were given little chance of survival when they were born prematurely on January 19, 1995, at San Salvador’s Maternity Hospital after a 32-week pregnancy. Today Thelma Estefanie, Irvin Norberto, Cristian Israel, Edwin Oswaldo and Milton Oliver del Cid Flores are healthy 18-year-olds contemplating futures in college.
Watch this video of a father testifying on behalf of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which protects unborn girls and unborn boys age 20 weeks and older from death by abortion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7O2rgG67Ak. Human life is valuable in all its varieties and various ages. Congressman Trent Franks who is in the video has also "adopted" Pastor Saeed Abedini through the Defending Freedoms Project which is an effort of multiple groups including the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission to increase attention and support for human rights and religious freedom through focusing on prisoners of conscience across the globe. Members of Congress "adopt" prisoners of conscience to advocate for their release. Advocate for Pastor Abedini's release by prayer and by signing a petition at http://www.savesaeed.org.
In Iran and in China it is difficult to be a Christian and to raise a family. Bob Fu, a Christian, left China with his wife, who was pregnant with their first child. The Fu family did not have government permission required under China's one-child policy to conceive and to give birth to a child. Today Bob Fu is head of ChinaAid which works for religious freedom and against China's one-child policy. Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp0RDMK-huY.
God gives people permission to celebrate two birthdays, one natural and one spiritual. John 1:12-13 Amplified Bible says, "But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]" Being born of God is living a good life now and forever including overcoming evil in an unbreakable relationship with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. Abortion, sterilization, discrimination and a lack of liberty are some evils.

North Carolina's compensation excludes some people who were sterilized. To receive compensation victims must be alive as of June 30, 2013, and must prove that they did not receive informed consent. An appeals process exists. What types of sterilization compensation limits are bad? What types are good? Write to:

Is Love On Your Mind?
When Chief Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., wrote the majority opinion for the 1927 Buck v. Bell decision, he upheld the practice of state-sponsored sterilization and wrote that "three generations of imbeciles are enough."
However, God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit hasn't had enough of people, and He counsels us to think well about God and people. Proverbs 4:23 Amplified Bible says, "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life." Deuteronomy 6:5 New Living Translation Bible says, "And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength." Leviticus 19:18 The Message Bible says, "“Don’t seek revenge or carry a grudge against any of your people. “Love your neighbor as yourself. I am God."
Some people carry a grudge against people who are disabled, low-income and/or minorities. Some also seek revenge. The Charlotte Observer reports that Wallace Kuralt, a North Carolina welfare director from 1945 to 1972, said in a 1970 interview that “we’ve pursued sterilization of the inadequate parents more actively than any place in the world... Our activities (in birth control and sterilization) have caused us to give aid to less than 50 percent of the families we would have had to give aid to if it were not for these activities.” Read more here: http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2013/08/08/4223519/alice-mae-jackson-and-eugenics.html#storylink=cpy.
It's this type of thinking that permitted William Lynch, Charles Holt, Alice Mae Jackson, Elaine Riddick, Nial Ramirez and more than 7,600 people in North Carolina to be forcibly sterilized. Elaine Riddick was raped at age 13 and became pregnant. At age 18 she got married and tried to have children a year later. When she couldn't, she found out that the state of North Carolina had sterilized her as her son, Tony Riddick, was being delivered by C-section. Elaine Riddick has been seeking to stop state-sponsored sterilization and to start financial compensation for the victims ever since. Due to her efforts and the efforts of many other people North Carolina is scheduled in June 2015 to pay $10 million split equally in a one-time payment to victims of North Carolina state-sponsored sterilization.
California has even more documented cases of state-sponsored sterilizations than North California. It has more than 20,000 and is believed to be the US state with the most sterilizations based on laws like the one upheld in Buck v. Bell. However, all state records have not been made public. Also California is not scheduled to pay compensation to sterilization victims.
The Buck v. Bell sterilization law and others like it are based on eugenic philosophy which believes that the human race can be improved by promoting the procreation of some considered superior and by eliminating the procreation of others considered inferior (usually the disabled, low-income and minorities).
When God tells the human race to multiply in the Bible, He doesn't limit procreation based on a person's physical, mental and economic characteristics. God does command people to have children within marriage. God wants children to be loved by a mother and father.
God is Love. Obey Love. Disobey the devil. Love sees the potential in people, does not embrace pride and desires to imitate God. The devil will use pride and any other sin to degrade, divide and destroy people.
Abortion, sterilization, discrimination against the disabled and others, and other evils can be stopped. “Anything is possible in this world," Chen Guangcheng says (Rosie Gray, "Chen Guangcheng: Chinese Government “In A State Of Madness,”" BuzzFeed, May 13, 2014.)
Disabled or non-disabled we all need help in various ways. Chen Guangcheng, who became blind as a result of a childhood illness and now wears dark sunglasses, is a self-taught lawyer from China who helped the disabled win public benefits and aided farmers fighting illegal land seizures. Chen Guangcheng became internationally known for filing a 2005 class-action law suit against Chinese government officials for forced abortions and forced sterilizations practiced as part of China’s one-child policy. Later he endured physical and psychological abuse in jail and in house arrest. Chen Guangcheng was in house arrest with his wife, Yuan Weijing, and the couple's daughter. Their son was being "educated." Eventually the Chen family escaped to the United States. Chen Guangcheng, a US immigrant, testified before Congress on April 9, 2013, regarding human rights abuses in China.
Timothy Liveright has committed human rights abuses in America. Timothy Liveright, an abortionist at a Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic, would sing "hymns about sin to girls during the painful dilation phase of an abortion," according to Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich, a former nurse at the clinic; read more at http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/she-the-people/wp/2013/08/02/another-gosnell-in-delaware/. Mitchell-Werbrich also said that Liveright placed patients on "operating tables still wet with the blood from the previous patient." Another former nurse at the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic, Joyce Vasikonis, and a former healthcare manager at this clinic, Melody Meanor, have all testified of the unsafe, unsanitary, chaotic conditions in the Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic. Watch them talk in a "Planned Parenthood Whistleblowers" video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzt8u-LC34w.
Instead of Timothy Liveright's, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.'s, and Wallace Kuralt's way of thinking and trying to solve problems, think and do Biblical love empowered by a relationship with God.

Love Has A Debt
The United States Supreme Court 1927 Buck v. Bell decision allows states to sterilize people. At age 17 Carrie Buck was pregnant as the result of rape. She was declared incompetent and forcibly sterilized.
It wasn't until 1979 that Virginia repealed the sterilization act that made Buck's sterilization possible. Unlike North Carolina, Virginia victims of state-sponsored sterilization are not scheduled to receive financial compensation.
Elaine Riddick is one who fought for financial compensation to victims of North Carolina state-sponsored sterilization. Riddick was raped too.
How many state-sponsored sterilizations were done to victims of rape and other crimes?
An apology to victims of state-sponsored sterilization is not enough and does not meet the Biblical standard of love. Romans 13:7-10 Amplified Bible says, "Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due. Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]. The commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet (have an evil desire), and any other commandment, are summed up in the single command, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. Love does no wrong to one’s neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law."
So far North Carolina is the only US state set to give due revenue to victims of state-sponsored sterilization. However, more than 30 states participated in state-sponsored sterilization.
Also other nations, such as China, have state-sponsored sterilization.
Unjust deeds are surrounded by other unjust deeds. Buck and Riddick were raped and then sterilized. Cristin Gilbert was raped and may have also not consented to an abortion that killed her and her child; Cristin Gilbert had Down's Syndrome. Should people who do not consent to an abortion be financially compensated?
Love is not automatic. Un dicho (a proverb) says, "Clamor del pueblo sube al cielo" ("The outcry of a people rises to heaven.") Share prayers and good deeds done in your state or area of residence to move along efforts to compensate victims of government-sponsored sterilization? Write to:

Aid With Strings Attached
Alice Mae Jackson died in 1969 at age 42 of breast cancer, but her daughter, Henrietta, age 61, is alive and is eligible to collect financial compensation from the state of North Carolina for the forced sterilization inflicted on her mother by government officials in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
When Alice Mae Jackson was alive she received state aid with strings attached. During one of her reviews for continuance of state aid Alice Mae Jackson took three of her four children -- 2 girls and a boy -- to the Mecklenburg County welfare department. Mecklenburg welfare officials told her to get sterilized or the state would take her children. Later government officials put Henrietta in an orphanage. After Alice Mae Jackson was sterilized she got Henrietta back.
James 1:27 Amplified Bible says, "External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world."
Aid is supposed to help people and be unspotted and uncontaminated with worldly strings like forced sterilization. Needing assistance is not shameful.
Human rights violations such as abortion and forced sterilization are not God's will. God wants people to enjoy living. God the Son Jesus Christ says in John 10:10 Amplified Bible, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)."
Most parents want their children to enjoy living. The daughter that Alice Mae Jackson did not take to her public assistance review, she had placed with other family.
Later on in life Henrietta met this daughter whose name is Sheila. They met as employees of a nursing home.
Alice, Henrietta, Sheila and their other siblings needed true help instead they received discrimination. Read more about their story at http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2013/08/08/4223519/alice-mae-jackson-and-eugenics.html.
North Carolina is scheduled to pay $10 million shared equally to victims of forced sterilization. If those forcibly sterilized are dead, the family's estate is eligible for compensation. Forced sterilization was legal in North Carolina based on a 1933 law that allowed government workers to forcibly sterilize people deemed to be 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic.' In Oklahoma earlier this year Governor Mary Fallin signed into law the Nondiscrimination in Treatment Act which takes effect November 1 and is modeled after anti-discriminatory language in federal law. The law, the first of its kind to be signed into law in the United States of America, will prevent health care providers like those connected to nursing homes from denying food, water and other assistance "on the basis of a view that treats extending the life of an elderly, disabled, or terminally ill individual as of lower value than extending the life of an individual who is younger, nondisabled, or not terminally ill."

Legal But Not Moral
As a teenager Elaine Riddick lived in North Carolina in a two-bedroom house with her grandmother, who was affectionately called Miss Peaches. One day when the 13-year-old was walking home, a neighbor raped her and threatened to kill her if she refused to keep silent about the rape.
North Carolina state government workers also threatened Miss Peaches and Elaine Riddick. Government workers told Miss Peaches, who couldn't read, that if she wanted to continue to receive welfare benefits including food stamps that she must sign a form that gave the government permission to sterilize Riddick. When Riddick gave birth to her only child, a son named Tony Riddick, by cesarean section, she was also sterilized. Riddick did not find out that she had been sterilized until she was 19 and was told by North Carolina government authorities that her sterilization was done because Riddick was deemed mentally retarded and promiscuous and to stop the reproduction of such people.
What happened to Elaine Riddick, Tony Riddick and Miss Peaches was not moral, but it was legal. A 1933 North Carolina state law authorized the sterilization of people deemed to be 'mentally diseased, feeble-minded or epileptic.' It was not until 2003 that North Carolina made it illegal to forcibly sterilize people (NBC News, "State of Shame," November 2011.) Thirty-two US states practiced eugenics programs before and/or after World War II that included forced sterilization of those considered mentally and/or physically inferior.
Irregardless of what mental and/or physical abilities or disabilities we have, God loves us and desires wholeness and wellness for us spirit, mind and body. When someone is in a difficult situation desiring help God does not try to "solve" difficulties by killing people; instead He desires to heal people. In Luke 10 Jesus Christ shares the story of a Samaritan who participated in the healing of a man who had been robbed and beaten, and He teaches us to do likewise.
"You can't put a price on someone taking your womb or castrating you, it's humiliating,” Elaine Riddick told NBC News. Money helps to pay for physical and mental healthcare and other needs and wants. "I tip my hat to North Carolina,” she also told NBC News regarding the $10 million to be divided equally among victims of the former North Carolina eugenics program; “Finally they came to their senses and decided to do what's right.”
Un dicho (a proverb) says, "Amor primero, amor postrero" (Love, first and last.") All creyentes (believers) are called to be good Samaritans which is being a good neighbor in the Matthew 22:36-40 way: "Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light—which are heavy?] And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets."
ChinaAid, Women's Rights of China and US Congressman Chris Smith acted as good neighbors to Li Fu, Cao Ruyi and Li Dahai who live in China. When Cao Ruyi was five months pregnant she was forcibly taken to a hospital to have an abortion because she did not have the proper paper to have a child. No hospital bed was available. Her abortion was delayed enough for ChinaAid, Women's Rights of China and US Congressman Chris Smith to intervene. Cao Ruyi gave birth in a secret place to the married couple's only child, a son named Li Dahai, which means "our help came from overseas."
China has an one-child policy that includes forced abortion, forced sterilization, economic terrorism and other terrorism. Cao Ruyi and Li Fu are suffering a $15,000 fine for the unauthorized birth of Li Dahai.

Sex, Money and Love
Money is necessary to take care of many needs and wants. Generally having a lot of money is better than having a little money provided money is kept in its proper perspective. 1 Timothy 6:10-11 Amplified Bible says, "For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart." A ChinaAid News March 24, 2013, "With ChinaAid's Help, Two Victims of China's One-Child Policy Granted UNHCR Refugee Status" article reports that in 1995, when Guo Yanling was eight months pregnant, she was forced to have an abortion. In 1999, she was forcibly sterilized. In 2006, she was imprisoned for not being able to pay a fine for having more than one child. The Chinese government also refused to issue household registrations to her and to her husband, Du Yiliang's, three children without which they are unable to attend school or to receive government benefits. Guo Yanling's and Du Yiliang's abortion, sterilization, educational and economic terror experience is typical in China. The Chinese government collects many fines related to its one-child family. Since 1971 in China there have been 336 million abortions, 222 million sterilizations and two trillion in fines in Chinese currency (Ma Jian, "China's Brutal One-Child Policy," The New York Times, 5/22/2013.) A connection between economic policy, economic practice and population control is in America also. Thirty-two US states practiced eugenics programs before and after World War II that included forced sterilization of the disabled. The 1927 Buck v. Bell Supreme Court decision ruled that forced sterilization of people with disabilities was not a violation of their constitutional rights. By the 1970s, more than 60,000 disabled people were sterilized without their consent.
North Carolina became the first US state legislature to approve payment to victims of government-run forced sterilization programs. Ten million is to be shared by each victim through an one-time payment on June 30, 2015. ""The money don't take up the place of what happened," said Willis Lynch, an 80-year-old retired handyman who was sterilized at age 14 after being deemed mentally unfit. "I'm glad they did something, though."
Mr. Lynch said he was sent to a school for the mentally and developmentally disabled after his widowed mother could no longer care for her seven children. Records from the state's eugenics board show that in the late 1940s no one from that school was to leave without being sterilized, except in cases where children had been committed in error" ("NC offers $10M to victims in forced-sterilization- NC ends pay boosts for teacher master's," Bayou Buzz, July 26, 2013.)
Instead of using money to stop people from having children, God calls creyentes (believers) to use money to help self and other people. Luke 16:9 New Living Translation Bible says, "Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your earthly possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home." Jeremiah 22:1-3 Contemporary English Version Bible says, "The Lord sent me to the palace of the king of Judah to speak to the king, his officials, and everyone else who was there. The Lord told me to say: I am the Lord, so pay attention! You have been allowing people to cheat, rob, and take advantage of widows, orphans, and foreigners who live here. Innocent people have become victims of violence, and some of them have even been killed. But now I command you to do what is right and see that justice is done. Rescue everyone who has suffered from injustice."
Some government leaders believe the only way to help widows, orphans, foreigners and others is through communism. China and Cuba are communist countries. "Communism doesn't work in Cuba. Really, the Cuban government has supported communism to repress its people," says Berta Soler, leader of Las Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White,) a Cuban human-rights organization formed by the wives and mothers of 75 dissidents jailed in a 2003 government crackdown on political opponents. Ladies in White participate in a weekly march and in weekly attendance at Mass dressed in white to encourage the Cuban government to free all political prisoners.
Good relationships, having more than enough resources, freedom and justice are biblical ideas. In America we have a national motto "In God We Trust." God calls us to be good to creyentes and to non-believers. Matthew 5:44-48 English Standard Version says, "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
God made sex. What God makes is good, very good. Occasionally children are created as the result of God's will and sexual relations. Love celebrates and cultivates life. China Aid helped Guo Yanling, Du Yiliang and their children to become refugees in Thailand. Shouldn't all countries be welcoming to victims of China's one-child policy? Shouldn't the killing of unborn girls and unborn boys be illegal globally? Shouldn't all 32 US states compensate victims of forced sterilization? Write to:

North Carolina became the first US state legislature to approve payment to victims of government-run forced sterilization programs. Ten million is to be shared by each victim through an one-time payment on June 30, 2015. ""The money don't take up the place of what happened," said Willis Lynch, an 80-year-old retired handyman who was sterilized at age 14 after being deemed mentally unfit. "I'm glad they did something, though."

Sex And Reparations For The Disabled
The United States is a nation with a motto "In God We Trust." God counsels us in Proverbs 3:29 Amplified Bible, "Do not contrive or dig up or cultivate evil against your neighbor, who dwells trustingly and confidently beside you."
Sometimes instead of trusting God, our government becomes an evil neighbor. Thirty-two US states practiced eugenics programs that included forced sterilization of the disabled.
Kim Severson reports in the July 25, 2013, The New York Times article "North Carolina: Budget Pays Eugenics Victims" that the North Carolina state board ran a eugenics program from 1933 through 1977 that sterilized about 7,600; on July 25, 2013, North Carolina became the first state legislature to approve payment to victims of government-run forced sterilization programs. Ten million is to be shared by each victim through an one-time payment on June 30, 2015 (Lynn, Charlotte Observer, "N.C. budget would end teacher tenure, pay some private school tuition," July 22, 2013.)
Fear of the sexuality of people who are different is part of our past and present. The 1927 Buck v. Bell Supreme Court decision ruled that forced sterilization of people with disabilities was not a violation of their constitutional rights. By the 1970s, more than 60,000 disabled people were sterilized without their consent. Forced sterilization is illegal today, but the sexuality of the disabled is not widely celebrated.
Nick Vujicic was born without arms and legs. Today he is married to Kanae Loida Vujicic-Miyahara. The couple have a son named Kiyoshi James Vujicic. As an adolescent Nick Vujicic says he experienced bullying about his sexuality. Vujicic writes in his book Unstoppable The Incredible Power of Faith in Action, "Day after day, he'd walk by me and shout out, "Nick has no --!""
God made our bodies, and we are to use them according to His design. 1 Corinthians 7:3 New Living Translation Bible says, "The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs."
A Nigerian proverb says, "Our children are living messages sent to a future we may never see." Kiyoshi James Vujicic is a child witness celebrating the sexuality of those with disabilities. Perhaps when he is an adult American society and other societies will think it common and not a point of criticism for people with all kinds of disabilities to marry and to have children.
Americans of Japanese and other Asian heritage were interned in camps during World War II. Starting in 1990 the US government sent survivors reparations of $20,000.00 each. Do you think other states should pay reparations to victims of forced sterilization? Write to:
