How is it possible to kill by abortion more than 336 million people and to sterilize more than 222 million people since 1971 in China? How is it possible to kill by abortion more than 55 million people in America since 1973 and to sterilize more than 60,000? One part of the answer is that it's necessary to "educate" as many people as possible to think that evil is good.
Satan, the devil, sometimes pretends to be gentle and good to confuse people into embracing evil as good.
Recently I was reading a book that described China's one-child policy as "highly effective." A confused mind describes as "highly effective" killing baby boys and baby girls via abortion and sterilizing women and men all accompanied with government compulsion on parents to pay for these acts.
1 Corinthians 13:7 Amplified Bible says, "Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]." Love does not focus on sin and difficult circumstances. Love focuses on God first then people. A Twi African proverb says, "Love is the greatest of all virtues." Matthew 22:36-40 Amplified Bible says, "Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light—which are heavy?] And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets."
God is Love. Obey Love. Disobey the devil. Love sees the potential in people. The devil sees people as worthless and hopeless; the devil seeks opportunities to create problems for people, accuse them of sin and kill them.
God does not ignore sin and difficulties. God sees all reality and is still willing and able to love. Before the healing of a son with mental and physical disabilities Mark 9:23 Amplified Bible says, "And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!"
When a father brought his son who had mental and physical disabilities to God the Son Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ did not sterilize, starve or separate the father and/or son. Instead Jesus Christ healed the son who had mental and physical disabilities and didn't hold his sins or his father's sins and difficult circumstances against them.
A Spanish saying is, "God will provide the means." God is a healer and a problem solver, not a people accuser and people killer. Imitate God. Ephesians 4:3-5:2 Amplified Bible says, "Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace. Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance."
Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead in three days getting back all that Satan stole from people. Satan has no potential for good. Jesus Christ is sterilizing, starving and separating Satan and his kingdom of darkness, so that God's love and goodness will reign in all the universe. What are some ways you on purpose focus on love instead of sin and difficult circumstances? Write to:

Estas loco! (Are You Crazy!)
A Chinese proverb says, "Great souls have wills; feeble ones have only wishes." One great soul, George Washington Carver said, ". . . It has always been the one great ideal of my life . . . to be of the greatest good to the greatest number of my people."
Carver was born of slave parents in the 1860's on a plantation in Missouri. Carver taught himself to read. Although he won a scholarship to attend Highland University, when he showed up for school, Highland refused Carver admission because he was black. This set-back did not stop Carver from furthering his educating.
Another black man, Booker Taliaferro Washington, saw the bounteous ability in Carver who had been doing research at Iowa Agricultural College after 1891.
Washington, founder of Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, sent Carver a letter in 1896 asking Carver to work at the Tuskegee Institute as the head of its Agriculture Department. Susan Altman writes in her book, Extraordinary Black Americans From Colonial To Contemporary Times, "At Tuskegee, Carver developed a system of crop rotation. He planted a legume crop (such as peanuts, which replenish minerals in the soil) one year, followed by a crop of cotton the next year. Its purpose was to keep the soil rich and improve the harvest. This system became so successful that an oversupply of peanuts resulted. Carver responded by coming up with more than two dozen uses for them. Soon, farmers were making more money raising peanuts than harvesting cotton."
"Whatever you are, be a good one," said former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, who issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, encouraging border states to outlaw slavery, helped push through Congress the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which finally freed all the slaves nationwide in December 1865, led the United States through the American Civil War preserving the Union and battled periods of depression. In addition to his crop-rotation system Carver invented more than 300 products from the peanut and more than 100 products from the sweet potato.
Carver received job offers from famous and accomplished people like Thomas Edison and Henry Ford says Altman. Carver rejected these offers. Some may have told Carver something like, "Estas loco!" (You are crazy!)."
Money was not the primary motivator of Carver's life. Carver is a Christian who was committed to God and the advancement of people, especially African Americans.
Carver worked 47 years for Washington, who was freed from African-American slavery as a boy and rose to becoming an educator, speaker, author and to the top of African-American leadership during Jim Crow segregation.
"Since new developments are the products of a creative mind, we must therefore stimulate and encourage that type of mind in every way possible," said Carver.
"The mind of the prudent is ever getting knowledge, and the ear of the wise is ever seeking (inquiring for and craving) knowledge," says Proverbs 18:15 Amplified Bible.
Carver prized and practiced seeking and sharing education all his life. God makes each person unique. Everyone has something to share. Romans 12:13 Complete Jewish Bible says, "Share what you have with God’s people, and practice hospitality."

A Helping Hand
"If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else," said Booker T. Washington, an educator, speaker, author and Civil Rights Leader who was born into slavery and rose to the top of African-American leadership during Jim Crow segregation. Wu Yiebing and Cao Weiping may have never heard of Booker T. Washington, but they have wholeheartedly embraced the message in his saying.
Keith Bradsher writes in his "In China, Betting It All on a Child in College" The New York Times February 17, 2013, article, "Mr. Wu and Mrs. Cao, who grew up in tiny villages in western China and became migrants in search of better-paying work, have scrimped their entire lives. For nearly two decades, they have lived in a cramped and drafty 200-square-foot house with a thatch roof. They have never owned a car. They do not take vacations -- they have never seen the ocean. They have skipped traditional New Year trips to their ancestral village for up to five straight years to save on bus fares and gifts, and for Mr. Wu to earn extra holiday pay in the mines. Despite their frugality, they have essentially no retirement savings.
Thanks to these sacrifices, their daughter, Wu Caoying, is now a 19-year-old college sophomore."
The couple have one child, Wu Caoying. Abortions are forced on women in China. Since 1979, Chinese couples have been limited to one child by law in order to control the country's population. Read my article "Thoughts About Abortion.
Mr. Wu and Mrs. Cao have invested in their daughter expecting her to get a job or run a business after college graduation and to financially support them in their old age.
Family helping family is Biblical. Proverbs 11:25 Amplified Bible says, "The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered."
The New York Times reports that for seven years it followed the family of Wu Yiebing, Cao Weiping and Wu Caoying. The New York Times also says this family is like other poor families in China.
Bradsher writes in his article, "She has chosen to major in logistics, learning how goods are distributed, a growing industry in China as ever more families order online instead of visiting stores.
But the major is the most popular at her school, which could signal a future glut in the field. That is a sobering prospect at a time when young college graduates in China are four times as likely to be unemployed as young people who attended only elementary school, because factory jobs are more plentiful than office jobs."
God has a unique plan for each person's life, and it is not always the safest route. Someone said there are 365 statements in the Bible encouraging us to be not afraid in living according to God's will in every area of life.
Nick Vujicic was born in Australia with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. He's good with numbers. Family and others encouraged him to pursue a financial career, and they took a while to warm up to him telling them that God called him into motivational speaking and evangelism. But they did warm up. Today Vujicic is an international motivational speaker and evangelist. He is also an author, runs a non-profit group, Life Without Limbs, is married to Kanae Loida Vujicic-Miyahara and the couple had a baby boy, Kiyoshi James Vujicic, born to them on February 13, 2013.
One of the benefits of receiving and living in a-now-and-eternal relationship with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Ghost is that God will bless us even in economic hard times. Genesis 26:1-3, 12-13 Amplified Bible says, "And there was a famine in the land, other than the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar, to Abimelech king of the Philistines. And the Lord appeared to him and said, Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I will tell you. Dwell temporarily in this land, and I will be with you and will favor you with blessings; for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. . . .Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings. And the man became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and distinguished"
The blessings of God do not mean that every believer will be financially rich. It may be that being financially middle-class is best for most. Agur writes in Proverbs 30:8-9 Amplified Bible, "Remove far from me falsehood and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, Lest I be full and deny You and say, Who is the Lord? Or lest I be poor and steal, and so profane the name of my God."
Many people desire to be rich like Isaac rather than middle class. Isaac was never poor. Even though Isaac knew how to work the resources God gave him in Gerar, Isaac had a head start on being wealthy. Isaac's father, Abraham, was wealthy. After Abraham died, his wealth went to Isaac. Genesis 25:5 English Standard Version Bible says, "Abraham gave all he had to Isaac."
A generous, financial helping-hand from those with means to those of lesser means is Biblical. Read my article, "Faith, Fear and Japanese Americans."

Like Father, Like Daughter
Like father, like daughter -- Jane Matilda Bolin was the youngest of the four children of lawyer Gaius Charles Bolin who had his own legal practice and was the first black president of the Dutchess County Bar Association in New York state. Gaius was the first black American to graduate from Williams College. In 1939 at the age of 31 his daughter, Jane, became the first black American woman to become a judge of any court in the United States of America. She served as a judge for the Domestic Relations Court for 40 years in New York.
Jane in the image of her father reproduced many firsts. Jane was the first black American woman to graduate from Yale Law School where she had been the only black student and one of three women. She was also the first black American woman to join the New York City Bar Association and to join the New York City law department as Assistant Corporation Counsel.
This mother of Yorke Bolin Mizelle was also an activist for children's rights and education. Jane served on the boards of the National Urban League, the Child Welfare League and the NAACP. Not one to rest on her past accomplishments Jane also received honorary degrees from Morgan State University, Western College for Women, Hampton University, Williams College and Tuskeegee Institute.
Through her work Jane ended the assignment of probation officers on the basis of race. She also stopped the placement of children in childcare agencies on the basis of ethnic background.
Speaking on women's rights in 1958, Jane said, "We have to fight every inch of the way and in the face of sometimes insufferable humiliations."
Jane would not have been such a fighter if her daddy did not spend quantity and quality time training Jane. Proverbs 22:6 Amplified Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Children can be biological and/or spiritual. The Apostle Paul was a spiritual father to Pastor Timothy and many others. Please share on-line comments regarding people helped by your natural and/or spiritual training, especially father and daughter training success.
Family is part of the foundation of society. Gaius Charles Bolin had the integrity to train his daughter Jane Matilda Bolin. In his book, Trust: The Social Virtues and the Creation of Prosperity, philosopher Francis Fukuyama said that all societies could be divided into two kinds: "high-trust" and "low-trust." High trust societies encourage and respect integrity and are the most law-abiding, free and prosperous. Low-trust societies are characterized by tyranny, thievery, dishonesty and corruption. Low-trust societies are the most undemocratic and poor.
America's first president, George Washington, was famous for his honesty. Please leave an on-line comment sharing your opinion about the current state and future of the American family and society.

Disability and a Dynamic Life
No matter what life throws at us keep moving forward. Dr. Georgia L. McMurray was thrown Charcot-Marie-Tooth Atrophy, a neuromuscular, degenerative disease that left her completely paralyzed. She was physically disabled but not downcast in her outlook on life.
From her motorized wheelchair she continued her research as one of the nation's top educators and continued to advocate for families, children and the poor. She founded more than one organization over the course of her adult life. One such organization was the GLM Group which was a consulting firm that provided research, training and technical assistance to government and non-profit organizations working with families, children and the poor.
More than two decades ago Dr. McMurray founded Project Teen Aid to help teenage mothers and their babies excel in life. When Project Teen Aid was founded in 1966 teen moms where expelled from school because authorities thought this would help stem the spread of teenage motherhood. Dr. McCurray said that this practice would foster poverty, deny people the opportunity to connect behavior with outcomes and was discriminatory.
The devil tries to stop us with many things including disease. Dr. McMurray said often right up until her death at age 58, "I ask God for strength to continue the journey." Dr. McMurray was disabled, but she was not downcast and defeated. She took what God gave her and worked it for His glory. Acts 1:8 Amplified Bible says, "But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth."
Excellence should be an example that all Christians display. Dr. Derek Grier, who has battled severe illness in his life, writes in his book, 60 Minutes of Wisdom, "Actor Michael J. Fox made this statement, "I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence, I can reach for; perfection is God's business. The most anyone can ever do in life is his or her very best. Sometimes we find that our best is not enough and in such moments all that we can do is trust God.
The King James Version Bible says in Psalm 138:8, "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me." I do not know what Michael J. Fox believes about God, but he stated a biblical truth. All of us must make peace with the fact that we are less than perfect. But we must daily wage war against any notion that we should settle for being anything less than excellent."
Dr. McMurray had a short life dying at age 58, but it was a dynamic life. Former U.S. president Abraham Lincoln, who battled depression, said, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." I imagine when Dr. McMurray met God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Ghost (1 X 1 X 1 = 1 or like water which can be liquid, ice or steam) that He said something like Matthew 25:21 Amplified Bible which says, "His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys." Please leave an on-line comment with simple ways to describe the Trinity.
Please also share an on-line comment regarding excellence in persons who are mentally and/or physically disabled. I would love to tweet with you. My Twitter name is "Michelelove30." Please also recommend this article on Google.
In the United States, India and many countries of the world females and the disabled are aborted because they are females and/or disabled. In the novel, Secret Daughter by Shilpi Somaya Gowda, Kavita and Jasu are married. Shortly after Kavita gives birth to their first-born child, Jasu takes the child away and arranges to kill their baby girl through infanticide simply because the baby is a girl. When their second child is born Kavita conspires with her sister to defy Jasu and gives the girl to an orphanage. When Kavita is pregnant with their third child, Secret Daughter says, "A new medical clinic in the neighboring village offers ultrasounds to expectant mothers, ostensibly to check the health of the baby. But it is well known that those who go there do so to learn the gender of their unborn child. The procedure will cost two hundred rupees, a month's earnings from their crops, as well as a full day to make the journey. They will have to use all the money they've been saving for new farming tools, but despite the hardship, Kavita agrees. She knows if the test shows another girl growing in her womb, all of the possible outcomes are wrenching. Jasu can demand she have an abortion, right there at the clinic if they had the money. Or he could simply cast her out, forcing her to endure the shame of raising the child alone. She would be shunned, like the other beecharis in the village. But even this, becoming an outcast from her home and community, would not be as bad as the alternative. She cannot face the agony of giving birth, of holding her baby in her arms, only to have it taken away again. Kavita knows in her soul she simply will not survive that."
Please share an on-line comment about sex-selection abortion and abortion of the disabled.
Many babies are being aborted just because they have a disability, or two or more. With scientific progress perhaps many if not most of the disabilities that exist today will be healed in full in the future. Luke 1:37 Amplified Bible says, "For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment." In a test case in 2005 a man who had accidentally severed off his fingertip was able to regrow it entirely in four weeks! My son, Rafael Damani Fowler, has autism. We don't personally know of anyone who has been healed of autism, but maybe you do. Please leave an on-line comment about someone healed from autism or another disability.

All Night Long
Thinking of pulling an all nighter or two or more to pass those tests, prepare a presentation for work or church or indulge in marital lovemaking. Think again.
After 18 hours of wakefulness our reaction time begins to slow, our memory decreases, our bodies and minds slow down to preserve energy, and we make bad food choices. We start to experience bouts of microsleep--moments when we zone out for anywhere from two to 20 seconds. Studies show if we keep trying to stay awake our reaction time will eventually be about the same as someone who is legally drunk.
If you have a relationship with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Ghost, the three that are one (1 X 1 X 1 = 1 or like water which can be liquid, ice or steam), God knows that you need to pass those tests, perform superbly for work or church, sexually satisfy our spouse. God's got His own covered; we will succeed and still be able to sleep properly allowing His life to flow through us accomplishing whatever needs to be done. Psalm 127:2 Amplified Bible says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of [anxious] toil--for He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep."
So relax and learn to rest, sleeping nightly between six-to-eight hours as research says the body needs this range of nightly rest for good health and beauty. God's people, His Bride, won't miss a thing. God's got everything under control; He's perfectly willing and able to manage our lives superbly. God never sleeps, so we can. Then rise ready to give an outstanding presentation for work or church or engage in marital lovemaking. Nothing is wrong with marital sex at night or in the afternoon, but bright and early has special benefits. Energy and ecstasy go together. A well rested spouse is ready for real good rock n roll.
I'm still waiting to get comments on a Biblical view of anal sex. I have not found anything specifically prohibiting a husband and wife from having anal sex, and I know that poop can be a sign of life and has its purposes. Archaeologists working at Paisley Caves in Oregon in 2002 found human poop that they determined to be 14,300 years old--the oldest traces of human life ever found in North America. Also human bowel movements can be used for fertilizer.
Anal play is fine. My concern about anal intercourse is that it may not be safe or sanitary. Yet some say that a wife can mount her husband and while his penis is in her vagina he can also place his hand or a sexual toy in her anus, and both spouses will answer the question, "Was it good for you?" by saying, Estoy bien (I am good) and/or Je vois la lumière. (I see the light.) Please leave an on-line comment with your thoughts about anal sex from a Biblical perspective.
God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Ghost designed sex. What God creates is good, very good, when practiced according to the author's design. "Baby, baby . . . come on wake up," she says to Tyrese Gibson as an introduction to the song, "I Gotta Chick," on Tyrese's album, Open Invitation. R&B singer and rapper Tyrese responds, "I'm sleep." He later asks, "Why are you always horny at 5:00 in the morning?"
While the morning is a great time to have sex, save partner sex for marriage. Praise God that Tyrese is a Christian and also has a positive view of sex; Tyrese doesn't view sex as the necessary nasty, essentially sinful or only talks about sex from a perspective of sin. So many Americans come from homes where parents did not say anything to them about sex, and for those parents who did communicate about sex many communicated verbally and non-verbally that sex is negative. A lot of America's sexual problems come from our history. Carter G. Woodson said, "The conditions of today have been determined by what has taken place in the past."
Sex education comes from our parents, schools, media and other sources. One of the comical things I was suppose to learn is that it is okay for a husband to kiss, lick, suck and touch with his hands his wife's breasts because she uses her breasts to breastfeed, but it is not okay for a husband to kiss, lick, suck and touch with his hands his wife's vagina because her vagina does not have a feeding function like her breasts. This week I saw a commercial advertising a car in which a child asks his parents where babies come from. The dad responds by creating this elaborate story of how babies are on another planet and at nine-month intervals they are sent to earth. The child responds that this is not the story his friend told him. At which point the parents turn on his favorite song to distract him from the subject, and they all start moving to the beat. Please leave an on-line comment with comical and/or tragic sex education.
The February 2013 Ebony magazine article, "7 Secrets of Lasting Love Best Friends and Passionate Lovers After 20, 40, Even 80-Plus Years? Couples With Serious Staying Power Share How They Do It," by Niema Jordan says, "I talk to people, and they are like, 'No, girl; I don't do that,' or 'If he did that, I'd be offended.' But sex is about expression, and if you can't feel free, I don't see how you can enjoy that moment." During the discussion, the couple unabashedly discussed oral sex, a topic that rocked the boat for some audience members. "A lot of Black men feel their women don't meet their needs. There is a big issue with Black women and oral sex. The perception is that White girls give it, and this is a reason Black men sometimes [date outside the race]."
Of course a husband who likes to receive oral sex should be willing to give his wife oral sex or whatever considerate, safe and adventurous sex she desires and requests. Some women believe men can read their minds. Some times they can't. So if you want something, ask and listen clearly, directly and lovingly. Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott write in their book, Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts Seven Questions To Ask Before-And After-You Marry, "Women use conversation primarily to form and solidify connections with other people. Men, on the other hand, tend to use words to navigate their way within the hierarchy by communicating their knowledge and skill and imparting information."
The average American married couple spends four minutes together. This lack of time together contributes to an inability to talk about sex, give sexual satisfaction and receive sexual satisfaction. Do you think many married people dislike each other?
A black husband who would leave his black wife to have sex with white women may have a view of all women as sexually inferior to men. Monica Wilson was a South African anthropologist, professor of social anthropology at the University of Cape Town who wrote Good Company: a study of Nyakyusa age-villages. Wilson wrote that the Nyakusa people are attached to ukwangela, the 'enjoyment of good company', the 'mutual aid and sympathy which spring from personal friendship' and imply 'urbane manners and a friendliness which expresses itself in eating and drinking together; not only merry conversation, but also discussion between equals, which the Nyakyusa regard as the principal form of education.'
A lot of America's sexual problems also come from practicing sex outside of Biblical boundaries. Pray for Tyrese and others like him to grow spiritually and accept that partner sex is only to be practiced inside of marriage.
For singles, God is your Ishi (Husband). If your faith allows you to masturbate as a single person, be sure to avoid the sins of gluttony, lust, pornography and self-mutilation while masturbating. Please leave an on-line comment with your Biblical perspective on masturbation. Is masturbation just for singles? Do married people masturbate by themselves and/or in front of each other?
When I have a question about sex, sexuality or something else for God, I find that He is open instead of obscure. Please leave an on-line comment about your relationship with God.
Whether we are masturbating or having marital sex, we are in a ménage à trois. A ménage à trois is multiple-people having sex. When we have sex, we are having sex with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Ghost. Christians say God is good and worthy to be praised, so why wouldn't everyone be for good sex?

Artificial Death
Sometimes
things are not as they seem, but we make assumptions about certain
appearances and behave according to our false beliefs. When Chen
Qingwang went to check on her neighbor, 95-year-old Li Xiufeng, in her
home in Beiliu, Guangxi Province, China, Xiufeng seemed to be dead in
her bed, motionless, not breathing or responding to her name and efforts
to get her out of bed.
So
Quingwang and her son made funeral arrangements for Xiufeng who lived
alone. Two weeks earlier Xiufeng had tripped and suffered a head injury.
Everyone thought Xiufeng was dead. She looked dead. She acted dead, so
she must be dead? According to Chinese tradition, Qingwang had Xiufeng
placed in a coffin in Xiufeng's home that was unsealed, so that family
and friends could pay their respects.
Six
days after Qingwang found Xiufeng "dead" in her bed, Qingwang came back
one day before Xiufeng's funeral to find no body in her coffin!
Xiufeng
was found cooking in her kitchen. Xiufeng said she woke up so hungry
that she forced herself out of her coffin and went to the kitchen to
cook. Medics say Xiufeng experienced an "artificial death," which is
when people have no breath, but their body is warm.
We
don't know much about "artificial death," but God knows everything. God
has many surprises about the human bodies He has designed and created.
"God delights in concealing things; scientists delight in discovering
things," says Proverbs 25:2 the Message Bible.
Some things that scientists do that we may imitate to help us handle situations that are artificially dead in a way that shows our appreciation, affirmation and adoration of our infinitely capable God:

- Scientists conquer their doubts and unbelief.

- Scientists investigate things.
- Scientists consult and collaborate with those full of wisdom, truth and ever-expanding knowledge.
- Scientists try to continuously learn as much as they possibly can.
- Scientists believe the unexpected and even the impossible are possible.

- Scientists share and publish the results of their experiments.

Living On Purpose
Prema Dhanraj's mom, Ruthie, like Hannah, the mom of Samuel, prayed for her first child. These moms dedicated Prema and Samuel to God. Prema became a doctor. Samuel became a prophet.
God gives us children for multiple reasons. Ask God to reveal the reasons, and then nurture them and the child. Proverbs 22:6 Amplified Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Prayers are meant to be put into action. Eli trained Samuel in ministry. Prema completed medical school. Samuel became a premier prophet of the Hebrews. Prema became Head of the Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery department of Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore, India, and in 1999 she founded Agni Raksha to provide medical treatment to burn victims and to provide career training. Many of the hospital's burn patients are victims of bride burning which can happen when the groom's family is not satisfied with the dowry from the bride's family. Demanding a dowry is suppose to be illegal as of 1961, but it is still practiced.
Samuel and Prema did not forget the investment their God and their parents made in them. They returned it to their family, society and even the world. Samuel's testimony is available to readers of the Bible, the most-read book in history. In addition to her work in India, Prema speaks and trains people internationally to help burn victims. Both Samuel and Prema are committed believers with clear purpose in life. An African proverb says, "If you don't know who you are, anyone can name you; and if anyone can name you, you will answer to anything."
Please share some prayers for your children that were answered in a life lived with godly purpose.

Why Small Is a Great Start
Whether
we have an intimate or distant relationship with God, God has created
each human being in His image. Sadly, many of us think in terms of our
limitations instead of the infinite capacity of God. Gladly, some
recognize the small-minded, limited thinking of Satan as big lies.
Sameena Mehmood's four-year-old daughter was often sick and missed many classes at school. To punish her, the principal refused to promote her to the next grade despite mom's discussion with the principal to find positive solutions.
Mehmood refused to accept the barrier to her daughter's progress erected by the principal. Mehmood used her Montessori teacher training, and on July 4, 1984, opened her own Montessori school in her garage with three children enrolled.
Some may have mocked and belittled Mehmood for her small beginnings, but God praises boldness birthed in lowly circumstances. Zechariah 4:10 New Living Translation Bible says, "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin . . . "
We have almost 10,000 taste buds. Mehmood may have been tempted to taste and to eat a variety of fears like the fear of people's opinions, the fear of change, the fear of the unknown, the fear of being the pioneer of a new school, the fear of a wrong vision, the fear of being wrong, the fear of failing, the fear of responsibility, the fear of not being loved by spouse, parents, other family and friends, the fear of losing the people one loves, the fear of having a bad reputation, etc.
Mehmood could have also allowed worry over her new garage school's small beginnings to grow across her mind fast and furious like an ivy and strangle her faith and commitment to her daughter's and other people's good. "Worry" is an Anglo-Saxon word meaning "to strangle" or "to choke."
How many people do you really think believed her garage school with only three students would be successful and a good place to educate her daughter and other people? It's likely that in small and big ways people tormented her and her family for a long time for defying the social norm of public school education.
What nervous habits were magnified or developed in Mehmood during this experience? Maybe she bit hers nails, popped her joints, rocked, etc. to release the anxiety conquered in the conscious mind but crawling around in the unconscious mind.
Anyway, if we really love someone as ourselves, we will treat him or her with multifaceted excellence even when many others don't; we will help the person to live by faith in the God-given ability to pull off what people consider improbable and even impossible no matter how long it takes. Mehmood chose love, faith and commitment over fear, worry, anxiety and submission to evil.
God especially rejoices to see good overcome evil. Romans 12:21 New Living Translation Bible counsels us, "Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good."
Mehmood had the wisdom and love to know that her daughter would not flourish in a school with a principal against her. View rejection as redirection and preparation to possess something better.

Seek
environments where we can grow. Because Mehmood loved her daughter, she
didn't force her to fit into a hostile environment. Mehmood shook off the enemy and created an
environment for success. 1 Corinthians 13:6 Amplified Bible says about
love, "It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but
rejoices when right and truth prevail."
Today Mehmood's garage school has grown into Headstart school of Montessori Education with almost 1,000 children enrolled and is one of the most-sought-after schools in Bangalore, India.
Good does overcome evil.
That doesn't mean everything in life will feel good or change for the good immediately. David Walker lived from 1785 to 1830, was born free from slavery, was a Christian and African American, owned a profitable secondhand clothing business started in his middle ages in Boston, Massachusetts, published an appeal against slavery, but died before the end of American slavery.
God is good. God is able to end slavery and to turn a school rejection into a new school or something else for God's glory and our good in His time and season. Grieve the rejection and loss while moving forward in God's good destiny.

Talk With God Throughout Today: God, forgive me. Sometimes I feel timid and tiny. Yet You say I am Your beloved, bold as a lion. Lavish Your Love on me. Thank you. Inspire me to live as You created me.
